I know how you feel! I just hit my 1 year with my little scardey rescue too! And like Finnegan, Layla has made soooo much progress! Isn't it just amazing?? What wonderful creatures they are We also do the same birthday/anniversary thing you do! It's so much fun to spoil these babies (not that they need a special day for that!) and let them know how much they are truely loved and appreciated. Yay for rescues!! Congrats on making it through that first year, I know it can sometimes get a little rough!!

I am just wondering --- did you get him through the Northeastern Boxer Rescue?? My wife and I were thinking of getting a second boxer - and what a way to do it - - adoption...

We got him from Boxer Buddies based out of Bellingham

Who I just happen to volunteer for. We have lots of wonderful dogs looking for new homes.

beautiful doggies on the site... my wife and I are still a bit indecisive at this point - our only dog is 11 months old now and we love her lots... so we figured a second one would only double the fun... but also the little things with the dog...

I appreciate the link and the reference - it is good to know that there are dogs out there that need a loving home...
