I was born in 1957 and since then these babies have owned me: Major 1956-1968 Beau 1971-1985 (he was part boxer and part dalmation - fabulous dog!) Shiloh 1985-1998 (My heart) and presently Indy 1998 - Beauty 1994

Indy is 3 yrs and 8 months and he weighs about 110....he was the largest in his litter. Beauty is around 80 lbs, but she is very much overweight...she has food issues.

Bless your heart. You can't blame yourself for something like that. Besides, does your vet know for sure that is the poisonous substance she ingested?? It could have been something else. She will be fine and you can give her tons of love and kisses when she gets home. Please keep us updated on...

After my two finish eating, I try to wipe their face with a warm paper towel or a baby wipe. Beauty especially - she's a messy eater and she gets food stuck on her nose...!
