Biggest Boxer?

I saw that dog on their website yesterday and thought it must have been a mistake, I cannot imagine a boxer weighing that much and he does not look that huge !!

I've always wanted a dog the size of a Great Dane and it looks like Apollo will be. He will be 9 months on June 10th and he's about 60lbs but he's quite lanky! I was a little worried, but feel much better after reading this thread. We were just letting him eat when he wanted, but decided that he only needed to eat twice a day. There for a while I felt so bad that he couldn't eat then he wanted, I was giving him lots to eat at both feedings. I've gradually gone to realistic proportions for him (can't go by the back of the bag!). You can still see (or at least feel) the last two ribs, so I've decided that I'm not going to worry too much!

Geez, now I'm starting to think Sampson is going to be truly huge! He turned 5 months on 5/17 and just the other day he weighed 47 lbs!! We know he's going to be pretty big though and he is solid too! He'll probably be one of those 90 to 100 pounders! He may wind up really big but he is the biggest baby dog ever!! He's such a sweetie boy!

Indy is 3 yrs and 8 months and he weighs about 110....he was the largest in his litter. Beauty is around 80 lbs, but she is very much overweight...she has food issues.

I think both of mine are munchkin boxers. Tucker is just under 60 lbs at almost 18 months and Kaia is 42 lbs at almost 8 months. Kaia's mom and dad were neither one huge dogs though. I saw one of Kaia's half-brothers (same dad) though and I honestly thought he was a great dane. He was in the biggest crate they make and his ears stuck out the top of it! I think he was 8 or 9 months old and already pushing 90 lbs. Tucker's parents were both average size.

Wow :o I wonder just how big my baby is gonna be!! I couldn't imagine him weighing as much as I do. I wouldn't know how to handle it.

What made you decide not to get a Dane? It's one of the breeds I'd consider as an addition.....

Tucker's mom, it sounds like Tucker and Kaia are right on target for their age - I wouldn't call them "munchkins" at all - they are perfectly within standard.

Big Ol' Boy

Our Tyson weighs in at 82 pounds - and our Sandy (female) weighs about 55, but we were told that her dad weighed approx 135 pounds. Now that we have Tyson, I can't imagine a boxer much bigger. He can take me out when he beans!!

Brody weighed in at 97 pounds this spring at his vet visit. (He will be 4 years old in June). He's been a little chowhound this winter and packed on a few extra pounds. Now I measure out the food he can have during the day, and the food for supper.

I knew he'd be a big boy, since his daddy was very big. But it doesn't matter how big they are, as long as they are healthy, and will do the important commands, such as "come", and "sit, stay".

As big as he is, he thinks he's a lap dog, sleeps across my lap while I watch TV. That's what I call a lap full of love!:D

Zoe is a year and three months old now and weighs in at 51lbs. I thought that was around average? I guess just like humans they all come in different sizes click on my gallery to see some of her pictures.
