    What makes your baby slobber?

What doesn't make Fibber slobber?! We are hoping to discover an industrial use for the stuff- we'd make millions!

If your boxer were an olympic athlete, what sport would s/he play?

They would have to invent a sport for Fibber! I'm thinking hockey enforcer(slams you into the boards) followed by a professional wrestler take down with style points for drooling! Tam 12157 Fibber McGee 4 years male fawn, natural ears

    Brushing....

I've learned to brush Fibber in the evening. He is a little more mellow, a little less playful, and loves the attention. He keeps turning, as if to prompt me to brush a particular area.

    Boozer Boxer??

I think it has to do with the yeasty smell. I've noticed the same reaction from Fibber on the smell of beer or wine as when I am making bread, particularly sourdough. He loves the smell!

    Sores

If the sores are what are often referred to as "hot spots" your vet can set you up with a treatment. This happens to Fibber occassionally- we don't really know why, but it worked quickly .( if I remember correctly, it was some sort of spray and an antibiotic to thwart infection.)

Hopefully, he won't learn how to spell!

Certain words- outside, ride, squirrels, bananas, apple, and treat (among others) drive Fibber into a frenzy of excitement. He runs around in circles, barking in Molly's face as if he's telling her what's going on! We've taken to spelling or using alternate phrases so he won't feel let down if...

    Hi Guys!

Hello, fellow upstate NY'er. Fibber McGee also has a bump on the rear portion of his head. My cousin (who works at a Petco and is trying to start a business as a dog trainer) calls it a "smart bump". We thought that was just great! However, its prominence lessened as he has matured. How...

    first time boxer owner

My parents got a boxer pup when I was a baby. We were best of friends, he was gentle with me, and protected me. Your daughter is a lucky little girl to be introduced to the love of a boxer. Of course, she'll now be hooked for life!

    Am I INSANE???

I feel like I'm missing out! When we first brought Fibber home, he cried ar night till we came and got him. We put a fleece blanket on the floor next to the bed, and then he was fine. He'll cuddle all day, except when he's eating or playing, of course, but when he settles in for the night he...

"that looks like a pit bull"

It is amazing to me how people often make this mistake. In my household, we have a pit bull- Molly- and a boxer-Fibber McGee. First, people think they are mother and son. When it tell them no, one's a pit bull and the other is a boxer, they swear the pit bull is a boxer and the boxer is a pit...
