My holisitic vet recommended soaking my dogs paws in a betadine solution. You can get a bottle of betadine at Walgreens or CVS. I'd just fill up some el cheapo zip lock containers and have him stand in them in the tub. He's a good boy, he'll do anything.
It was a few years ago and I don't...
Thanks Cami, I did join the yahoo board. Most of what I saw were posts for the more common nasal area that this cancer affects.
They don't rate the subcu MCTs, but they would call it the equivalent of a grade 2. I've never had issues with 800 MCTs I've removed off my boxers over the years...
My six year old boxer Myles was diagnosed today with Chondrosarocma on in front shoudler and he had a subcutaneous MCT removed as well. I searched the board and was surprised there were no results for Chondrosarcoma.
Has anyone had any esperience with partial bone removal?
This spot blew...
Oh hang in there!!!! It is worth it. Myles was in agility training forever before he started competing. A lot of boxers do have ADD, but when they are on, they are so much fun!!!
Try getting a toy and engaging her in class. You have to remember that you have to be the most "fun thing" there...
Just an FYI, tried EVO and two out of three have the squirts. I guess Orijen is on the come back. We're switching back and will just have to stock pile if there is a problem later.
If you want something really fun to do in the winter, join an agility class!
Myles will also "help" shovel the driveway. He basically jumps and trys to catch the snow I'm tossing. He makes a bigger mess than actually helping. I know when he's too cold as he'll go stand in the garage, then I...
Unfortunately, if your dog has allergies they are not going to just go away and may get worse. I was kind of surprised to hear you say you don't have time to wash his paws every day.
There are anti-fungal wipes that you can talk to your vet about. Your best bet is to find out what he is...
Thanks dmjp. I just stopped in my shop on Thursday and the shop owner told me that she was told they had to do some work on their extruder. I'm not buying it and neither was she. Any decent company would have communicated that a long while ago. It's the not saying anything that has me concerned...
Cami is right. My vet makes concessions for me all the time on their plolicies and such because I communicate with them about the care of my dogs. They know I am very involved and educate myself, so if there's a shot, a med or ACE that I don't want them to have, they are more than willing to...
Good idea 2D!
Doesn't anyone give their agility/obedience instructors gifts for the holidays??? My three most valued posessions is in their hands ;) I feel the need to buy them something!
I'm on my second boxer with allergies. My last boy would have hives and flare ups like you describe. Once, I attributed it to something as simple as paint fumes. It didn't happen very often, so I never did figure out what else might be causing it.
My boy Myles now has seasonal allergies and...
Thanks! I was considering EVO. He did horrible on CORE when I tried that a few years ago. He has very bad allergies and while he was diagnosed with IBD I think it's just that the allergic reaction is affecting his intestinal track and his absorbtion is low. I just weaned him off the...
Anyone have any have any interesting/original gift ideas for your agility instructor and your groomer????
For whatever reason, I am tapped out on ideas and want to do something fun or interesting for each of them.
Interesting Julie. I really like Orijen, they do very well on it. I seriously think if it were something as simple as fishing limits, the company would issue a statement that said something such as.. due to our commitment to quality blah blah blah.
My place did get the other flavors in, ALL...
