    anyone with a male/male combo?

I have 2 male boxers too. One is 18 months and neutered, the other is 13 months and intact (soon to be neutered). They get along really well. They play together, eat out of the same bowl, sleep together, play tug-of-war, chase each others tails... well one stump and one tail. The older one...

    Need a buddy?

I just got a second boy at the weekend to keep our first boy company. It's only been a couple of days but they are getting along really well and are great company for each other. I keep going into a time warp with them, I thought I was playing for 20 minutes with them, turns out to be an hour...

    kidney beaning

I have been reading the forums for several months now. As I am a new boxer owner I was curious as to what this "kidney beaning" is that so many people say their dogs do? Also what is "The Woo Woo Song"... is this some sort of howl that is particular to boxers?

scared of meat touching his feet

Hi everyone, Here's a strange one for you all.... I have been feeding my boy Nikki BARF since I got him. Yesterday I gave him a whole chicken carcass for the first time, usually I chop them up ito smaller pieces. He had no problem eating it, the problem is that he was not using his paws/feet...

    Beef RMB's. What cuts?

A good soft beef RMB to feed is a brisket bone. I used to give them to my rottie, my boxer boy won't eat beef... he doesn't like it. Strange... maybe he'll eat it when he gets older.

    Where to start

I know it is very confusing when you first want to switch over to BARF. I found the two most useful books for me were "Give Your Dog a Bone" and "The BARF Diet", both by Dr Ian Billinghurst. They are well written and easy to read and understand. They can be purchased online at www.barfworld.com...
