yes all of our boxers have done "madies" as we call them in our house ,our old boxer used to often pull a muscle doing it so it would end with a yelp and a limping ,puffing boxer would slowly make her way to her water bowl. The pair of boxers we have now start off running together then stop and take turns at chasing each other along the track they have worn around the yard .We even rented a house once that the previous owners had ,had a boxer who had already made a track in the yard so our boxer took to using this path for her madies too . I can see why you guys call them burns as they sure burn alot of energy with all that tearing around!!

Wild Runs

I think the first time I saw Yogi doing a burn - I thought he had flipped out or something. He rips through the house like the devil himself is chasing him!! He runs through our bedroom, leaps on the bed, does a 180 and is back out again before you can blink an eye. And yes, he too uses the backs of our chairs to turn around on - and has on occasion flipped one over!!! Gotta love 'em!!!
