Zeke was bitten by a chow

My aunt had one and I was terrified. Zeke is doing O.K. but, is very scared now. We were going to start taking him to doggy day care but, I don't think this is a good time since he is scared of dogs.

I have talked with this neighbor about this situation. He doesn't seem to care. My husband had to pull their chow away from a little girl walking home from school about a month ago. There dog always is out and has ruined several plants and items in my yard as well as my neighbors.

The dog also barks nonstop. I almost feel bad for it because he is left out (and it is getting cold in Utah) and I never really see it get attention. The owners are just very irresponsible.

My neighboors had a chow when I was growing up......

It was one of the meanest dogs I have ever met. It would chase me right when I left our property. Even today I just generally dislike chows because of that. Poor Zeke.....

Poor baby! Boy, that's so scary, I can't imagine seeing a vinyl fence move from a dog hitting against it. I would certainly lodge a complaint. That dog sounds very dangerous and will certainly bite again.

Can't a complaint be filed just because the dog is loose? He must be loose if he is able to eat your plants, bite your dog and chase little girls? There must be some law against that as well. Sounds like your neighbor is a jerk.
I hope Zeke feels better soon, I would hate to have to go through that and then still have to be afraid for poor Zeke's safety.

Its great to know that your boy was there to defend you. But not right that either one of you had to be put in that position. I hope that your neighbor gets what should be going to him. It is to bad that people are careless and do not treat there babys with love. Some people make me SO MAD!!!

I am so sorry your boy got bit... healing vibes comeing your way <<<<<healingvibes>>>>>>..... we have a chow chow.. his name is church he isnt friendly with other dogs at all or with other people... he likes my husband and that is about it..they are one person dogs so for this reason he stays outside and only gets to run lose when my hubby can be with him.. other wise he lives in his kennel where he is very happy to be... he really doesnt like to be bothered at all by anyone or anything he isnt mean and has never bit anyone you can just tell by looking at him that he wont tolerate anything.. i think you need to report your neighbor for keeping a dog he knows to be dangerous.. if mine ever bit anyone and i couldnt prevent it from happening again i would surely find him another home.. so sorry to hear of this situation.. i hope everything works out...your boxer buddy marvie
