I am really surprised to see the Akita popularity here!!! Before Sugar and Bo, I had Rocky - a 3 year old BIG BABY!! Everyone was scared of him because he was so BIG and MEAN looking! Truth be know he was scared of fleas!!!! He lived in the shop that I use to have half ownership in and he was our "GUARD" dog, believe it or not!!! He was such a baby!!!


1. Boxer ( a lot more playful than Akita's )
2. Akita
3. Austrailian Shepard

Mine are...
1. Boxer (of course)
2. American Bulldog
3. Border Collie
4. Yorkie (I know what you're thinking...but these can be great dogs...very loyal. I despise my Mom's bitc*y Yorkie, but they're not all like that. I'll have to tell you the story sometime of how my little Yorkie I once had saved the family from an intruder).
5. Schnauzer
6. Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (oh, that face!)
7. Poodle (so smart!)
8. Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier (not your typical terrier)
9. Black Lab
10. Blue tick coonhound (my ex-husband has one, and she is the best dog!)

I also like Pomeranians, Bichons (yes, I said Bichons), Scottish Terriers, and mutts.

I can compile something but it won't be til later this evening; I've been on the computer enough today at work! And it looks as though lots more people are posting. That way, this will ensure Olly has enough time in his busy schedule to get to work "on time", seeing as how he has that 55 hp car.

Hey Elsa...I heard the police pulled him over due to all the complaints from townspeople from all over the South of France. It seems he's been zipping around in his little car playing ABBA full blast over the car's sound system, and after repeatedly asking him to stop, the people gave up and called the authorities. What a shame. :(

Well, I have been around pretty much all kinds of dogs when I was a child and my husband and I had a boxer when we first met years ago and he got really ill on us we had found him stranded in the alley and he jumped right in with us in the truck. So I can say my choice and my husband's would be all BOXER all the way!!!!!!!!!! There isn't a better, funnier breed than our Boxer, Dallas!

When I posted my list of favorites, I posted the dogs that I thought were the cutest and cuddliest. This was not, by any means, my list of dogs that I want to own (except # 1 on the list, of course). I will probably never own another breed, Boxers are the BEST!

Here's mine-I like so many dogs!!! But like someone else said, not that I would own most of these right now, I just like them and if I see them on the street I have to meet them. Mostly I base my liking for a dog on their own seperate personalities, so these are just ones that make me smile...
