I always think Sadie isnt eating right...She just turned 1 yr and is still vrey thin. If she doesnt eat much during the day I FLIP out. When I mentioned it to the vet she said it was ok that "Sadie has always been thin" so....her ribs show some....

Maybe I can get a pic posted....so we can all compare.

Our Amy did not even look like beginning to 'gain' weight until she was 4 :) We used to get two types of comments on her (and actually on all our dogs because we do keep them fit and lean, it was just that Amy was super lean).

There was the 'Joe Public' type comment of "Gee you can see thier ribs" and then there was the 'Dog Person' comment of "Arn't they in beautiful condition". I know who I listed to ;)

Lets face it, the majority of dogs are actually overweight :eek:

When we adopted Sampson a year ago, he was 52 lbs. Since then, he's put on a little weight but, it very lean - all muscley.
