Boxer Pal
We got the registration certificate and pedigree back from AKC for our dog and her birth date is listed as May 25th instead of July 25th. I looked back at the AKC application we got from the breeder (we registered online) and she did in fact put the wrong birth date on that as well.
I think it's an innocent typo as she only mistyped one digit and she was otherwise a very helpful breeder. We were able to inspect the sire and dam, she had genetic testing done, and she had taken very good care of the puppies. The dog is definitely 4 months old so there's no possibility of the breeder simply having lied to us. We're going to get our dog spayed and we're never going to participate in AKC events, so should I try to get the date corrected? Is it even possible? And would it matter for anything else?
