Worried...Dripping urine mixed with blood

I didn't give him his Primor this morning and he just shook a little bit but went right to acting normal and eating both breakfast and dinner. 
So, I called the vet and told him about the improvement and he said he will switch him from Primor to ... well, I can't quite remember the name but it began with a B. I am going to pick up the new pills tomorrow morning. Hopefully he won't react so badly to those. He said Primor is the first antibiotic he normally prescribes for UTIs. Thank you all for listening (well, reading)... and for the replies, I will keep you all updated on things.

Gracie just had this, it went away quite fast.... didnt even take the entire 12 days of pills they gave us.
Another thing, her dripping didn't stop after the infection was gone so we had to treat her for incontinence. There are herbal remedies as well as drugs for it that can help. I did a search on BW for it and got tons of info.

I just got back with Samson's new antibiotics, they gave him one called Cephalexin (i thought they said B something or other yesterday, guess I was hearing things, 
) ... anyway he has to take 2 of these per day for the next 9 days, hopefully he will be OK on these.

Sammy is doing SO much better now. He had no reactions to the new meds and his UTI is cleared up now. Now that he is feeling better he is wanting to play alot more... he's always rooting through his toy box now :b
It's great to see him back to his ol self. :D
