Anyone looking forward to the Football (soccer) world cup which starts in Germany tomorrow?

Don't know how popular it is in the US but every street/shop/car has the St George cross on display here

I was watching GMTV this morning and they were interviewing Scottish people and most of them were going to support whoever we played against.
I was livid, how pathetic!!

I saw that the other day too..How nasty!!!..Anyway do we care??..Does this look a face that's bothered?? ...We've got yards of St. George's bunting (I bought some for our next door neighbor too, so, when I say yards, and yards of it, I really mean it!!) We have a huge England flag flying, the cars are festooned with flags as well!!...And for real impact, Millie will have a huge red cross on her white chest on Saturday...Oh and by the way, I made sure that my store window dummies are suitably attired in patriotic red and white!!..I never normally watch football, but this IS the world cup, and I'm going to support our boy's all the way!!!! COME ON ENGERLAND!!! (not a spelling mistake, as all you here know..It's the way we say it

Last time I looked, it was perfectly legitimate to have a favourite team - and a least favourite one too. The Scots are hardly alone in that.

This is an international board that includes Scottish members. We don't need nationality bashing on it, particularly over something as trivial as a game.
