Boxer Insane
I am not sure if this is where I should post this, but I hope I can get some advice or help.
Izzy just turned 6 years old. She has slept in my bed everynight since she was about 3 months old. She was a very good puppy and rarely in a crate. Then Gus came along, and around 9 months old, started sleeping in bed with me as well. So, it has been about 4 years that I have had 2 boxers sleeping in my bed. Now, I can't sleep if they aren't in my bed. They are ALWAyS in my bed EVERY night. For the past week, Izzy has been sleeping in her doggie bed or on a pillow on the floor. I hate it! I know some of you are probably thinking its a good thing, but it really bothers me. She does have knee problems, but I know she can get in bed, she will come up if I call her, but then get down to sleep. Why would she all of a sudden start to do this? It just kind of worries me that something is wrong. Its not too hot because I have the AC on, and she isn't panting. She has to have surgery in a few weeks for her knee, a lump removed from her shoulder, and her gums (hyperplasia). I wonder if I kicked her in my sleep or something, I have no idea!! It makes me so sad when I wake up and my baby is sleeping in her bed on the floor :( Gus usually sleeps against my back, and Izzy against my legs, and its so weird with her not there!
Any adivce, suggestions, ideas???
