Boxer Insane
My Abby used to spit her food out all over the floor. She would take a big mouth full and run into the living room with it,spread it all over the carpet and then eat it. Atlas always takes off into boxer burns after he has a poop.

Locked out!!

My fiance and I were outside talking with our neighbors and we'd left the dogs inside. We heard the dogs barking inside because they wanted to be let out too. Since we'd been outside for a while, my fiance went to check on them because they seem to get into a bit of trouble when left to their own devices. He came back and asked if I'd locked the door and when I told him no, he said that we were going to have to call a locksmith because they had locked us out! Abbi had done this once before when we'd taken Hayden out without her but luckily we had our keys on us that time. Turned out though that we'd left the back window open so my fiance was able to climb in to get the door open.

And Abbi has gotten in a habit of jumping over the couch to get in and out of the living room. Like it would take so much longer just to walk the extra foot to get around the couch...

I'm glad to know that we aren't the only owners of spastic dogs. HA!

Weird or not?

I don't think that this qualifies as weird, but Apollo can't resist an open car door. If we are in the garage and the car door is open, he has to get in. We never take him for a ride in the car, unless it's to the vet once a year. About two weeks ago, I parked the car in the garage and was coming in the house. I had to get something out of the car, and he jumped in looking at me and saying "Lets go somewhere mom". Later that evening, I had to run to get some milk, I said "Apollo, do you want to go ride in the car?" (Mind you, no one's ever said that to him) He took off at a sprint and couldn't wait to get out the door and into the car! He doesn't like to ride with his window down however, he'd rather yours be down with his head behind your seat. I will not give him opportunity to ride with others, but will take him more myself!

Boxer Pal
Joe's not allowed to get his food until it's "paid for". So he lays patiently on the floor and watches me get his food and water and then he lays there and shakes until I call out "PAID FOR!" and he takes off and digs in.
The only thing he does that's really weird is flings his toys. He has a toy with a tennis ball on each end of a 2' piece of rope. He picks it up in his mouth in the middle of the rope and flips his head back and forth while the balls smack him in the head! Sometimes he lets go and the tennis balls go flying! They've ended up in some strange places...lol
Silly dog.

ryley is silly.

she::
--wont eat her food out of the dish, she likes to take it from the kitchen to the living room. she'll spit it out on the carpet then eat it.
--after drinking water, she has to give us big wet kisses
--bedtime, she loves to be under the covers and she does everything to make sure shes under them.
--you can't quite trust her on her own, so when i go to take a shower i'll make her go to the bathroom with me. ryley does not like that, she tries to get out of it as much as she can
--she has her own recliner, and if your sitting in it, then she will sit right on you. she knows that its her chair.

my dogs silly, but i couldnt trade her for anything!

One other weird thing Scrappy does is sit on his head burying it in a couch cushion making monkey noises!
