Well, same as many others my son named our first Piper after his obsession with the TV show Charmed. Diesel, after many weeks of trying different names came from the sign at the gas station. We tried several road signs, lol.
And Tate "Galileo's Gravitational Pull" was the name his breeder gave him and we liked it so much it stuck. It was unique and we all know haw the boxers pull you in,lol.

My puppy's name is Nigel because I think it's a good solid name for a good solid dog. We told the breeder we were going to call him Nigel so he put his full name as Branmere Naughty Nigel, and my goodness but the 'naughty' really suits him.

Anniston

Boxer Pal
Well Anniston received her name because her mother's name is Georgia and Anniston is a town in Georgia.

Dahby.....not sure why I just liked it I guess!

Matilda got her name because Dahby her mum is an Aussie and she was in the states so I was feeling patriotic!!

Austen because his ped name is Brodelle Austentacious! Certainly suits him too!!

I have a few names lined up for my new baby, thinking of Jax for a boy or Tisk for a girl, too hard to pick before you see them and get to see their personality.

Cheers

Liam got his name because it means "unwavering protector"...but I don't think he knows that. LOL
Moby got his name because he was 20 lbs at 10 weeks old......a whale! Like Moby Dick
Zuki is Japanese for 'love'..or 'punch'....depending on how it's pronounced. either way, it works. she's a love-buy...but also a 'punching' boxer.

"pepper" is her house name, but her registered name is "frau pfeffer". all of the boxers in my family have either a "frau" or "herr" prefix (german for "miss" and "mister"), and then a their "name". so we've had a frau fran, frau jill, and frau frieda. "frau pfeffer" translates as "miss pepper". it's our little nod to their german origins.

Our boxers full name is
Annie Jo Boxer Brockmann. We weren't planning on getting a boxer or even a dog but we saw them and they were soo cute. We wanted to get a boy and name it Jo Boxer like the brand but we saw annie who was sleeping on top of her sisters and fell in love with her. For some reason we just liked annie.
no reason in particular but her middle name is for the reason above.

We named our now 10 month old brindle baby girl Shadow, because the first time my 7 year old son saw her, he said that the stripes on her looked like shadows. She is living up to the name also, because wherever you go, you have a shadow following behind you. We just love her so much!!!!

we named our maximus after his grandparents. looking at the genealogy, both of his "grandparents" had maximus in their names. most people think we named him after the "Gladiator" movie character, but nope... he's big enough to be. his paper name is maximus filiolus, which means "little son" in Latin. he was my baby first, then came axe 8 mos later.

with axe, we got him from my sister-in-law, and she was dating a guy at the time who was a volunteer fireman. so his paper name is axle backdraft. kinda cool.

We named our girl Mackensie after my husband. His middle name is Mackensie, and I have always liked it. I wanted to name our children that, but always got outvoted, so when we got our puppy, I knew she was Mackensie.

I've already replied to this thread regarding Lola & Zeb but now we have a new addition.
We named Casper his name as it's one I've liked for years for a white boxer as in Casper the friendly ghost :)
