We ended up calling our little one "Thumper" after the rabbit in the Walt Disney movie "Bambie" - she did not like wearing her collar at first, and had a habit of thumping her back leg in an attempt to get it off. In view of the latter, and the fact that she literally bounced around, made it the perfect name for her.- Cathy

My boxers name is Ruckus and anyone that has a boxer knows why he is named Ruckus. I thought it fit the dog very well and so far he has proved me right.

Boxer Buddy
I named my white baby Zander (Alec Zander the Great) because Alexander means "defender of mankind" in Greek.. and my baby is my best friend.

Pooh's name is actually Harley-in honor of dh bike in the garage;Bownser got his moniker because he never just ran-he bounced like a deer-still does-Dozer came from being the biggest pup in the litter and always shoving his way in to get food and Cissy was named in honor of dh's first boxer girl, and because for some reason it just kind of fit her.Usually we call her Little Cis 'cause she is so tiny and petite.

I named Kaen pronounced <Kane> after a fictional character I created named Kaen Niller who is a vampire hunter in my stories. In my story he is constantly pursuing a vampire named Elbantrus (character personality based on my little brother who passed away). My story has a twist in that Vampires are not evil creatures but rather romantic and heroic lead figures and Vampire hunters are considered rebels and villains. The story character Kaen is a villain but he does not realize it, he believes he is doing the right thing. When Kaen was a puppy he used to do bad things but act like they were perfectly OK and this is why I gave him that name....I was originaly going to name him King but I decided against it since my last boxers titled name was "King Keylo Kasanova" even though we never once called him king I still didnt feel right about it. For some reason all my Boxers names start with a "K", I dont do this intentionaly I didnt even realize that until after I decided on their names lol.

Jack Jack the pumpkin king !

After MUCH deliberating ( we could not agree on a name , I wanted something distinguished , my hubby wanted something fun ) we were in Petsmart picking up some toys for the new pup and they had the Halloween stuff out and since Halloween is our favorite holiday . We were reminded of one of our favorite movies " The Nightmare Before Christmas " and the hero Jack. The name just fit !

PingsMomNiki

Boxer Booster
When Ping was born he had a white "swoosh" on back of his neck... someone said it looked like a Nike swoosh but it more resembled a "Ping" swoosh - the golf equipement Ping.. we started calling him Ping more so as a joke until we figured out what we wanted to name him [this was before we took him home-we picked him out when he was 2 days old and visited him several times a week until he was old enough to come home] anyway.. he started coming to the name Ping, so it stuck.. he loves his name and his nicknames "Ping-a-ling" and "Ping-Pong" unfortunately he lost his "Ping swoosh" by the time he was 3 months old !!

Roady's Mom

Boxer Pal
"Road"y "Trip"per

We named our new baby Roady Tripper because we live in CT and drove TWENTY FOUR hours Straight to bring him home from Virginia (on the border of Tenessee. WE thought and thought and then it just seemed like the obvious choice. He has truly grown into his name. Although we have only had him home for a week. He goes everywhere with us, as being a new Mommy I can't leave him home yet. He loves the car and the very first photo we took of him was in the car on the way home. He is our little Road Man!!!
