I wish i could just take her and tell her it's ok. :( as well as the poor little boy. I have a brother with downs syndrome, and we would do anything to help any lil kid (and boxer :P)

I am a child abuse investigator here in Osceola county, Florida so I know of this kind of story all too well, and it is very sad. I just don't understand how these people became foster parents! GOOD foster families are always desperately needed, at least here in Central Florida, so if any of you are able I would encourage you to look into it in your area.

Here's another one!!!!

Some guy walked into a store with a three year old boy. He put the three year old in a carriage, gave him a toy and left him there all alone. This poor boy was in this carriage for about an hour before someone finally decided to do something about it. Luckily the three old could talk enough to give them some info (relatives names, etc), but they still have not found the family.

I just don't understand why people do this. As bad as this sounds, if you don't want your kid(s) anymore or if you feel that you're not a suitable parent, why not try putting them up for adoption or something?? I know it's easy for me to say, but there are clearly alternatives instead of just killing them or as in this case, abandoning them!! It just doesn't make any sense to me and it never will. :mad:

I saw that on the news tonight to!! I can't imagine finding a 3yr old!! Gosh, I'd hug him and love him and squeeze him and say pa can I keep him!!!! Kiki would love to have a baby around here!

i just can't believe these kinds of stories. They bring tears to my eyes. Having 2 young children myself I could not imagine hurting them in any way! The trust and love that is in their hearts for us (their parents, caregivers etc.)is unimaginable and anyone who takes that away from them, takes it away forever. Sure, children can overcome and go beyond abuse that they suffered as a child. However, it is carried with them always..it's just sickening. I think abusers should be put away forever or at least left to suffer the pain they inflicted on poor innocent children.:mad:
