Who's Idea Was It?

Through knowing many different people with dogs it seems to me that in the case of couples living together it's usually the women(wife/girlfriend) who suggests a dog and then has to talk her partner into it. I know in our house it was always my idea, then I would search out the breeder and my DH and I would go from there.
Who's idea was it to bring a Boxer into your family? Just curious.

My husband brought Rookie home as a Christmas present for me our first Christmas together as a married couple. My husband wanted a komodor but cording that hair and maintaining it is way too much trouble. I had a boxer as a child and loved it and had wanted another for years. I had our boston terrier when we got married. My husband loved Coach so much that he gave in and decided that I was right and we needed boxers.

I got Titan on my own. I found out about them needing to be rescued the day before and the next night my brother and I went and saved the last two pups they had. I think I'll be getting more boxers in life since BF's family all have boxers too, I think he'll be an easy pushover. He's surrounded by those slobbery kisses and wiggly butts wherever he goes.

My husband is also a pushover. But it was my idea. All he ever says is...'yes, dear', which has made it easy for me to have three beautiful white babies. :cool:

My DH's adult children got him Garvin for his birthday. Daughter-in-laws family 'breeds' Boxers. He picked out the puppy he wanted. No one told me til they brought Garvin over, they knew I would say no to a dog.
Well things have changed around here
I convinced him that Garvin needed a friend (was thinking a small dog though)and after no luck at the pound I realised a Boxer was the only dog for us. Hence the call to Boxer rescue and the arrival of Bailey.

My DH had a boxer when he was younger, so he was the one who suggested getting a boxer. We had a pit before boxers and I love any of the bully breed dogs, so I was all for it. I have to say thanks to my hubby for introducing me to the world of boxers, because I will now always have one. In our family it's DH who is the original boxer lover-I'm the converted one!

I have had to talk my DH into all of our animals. I usually just bring them home and then he ends up loving them.

Getting a dog was my idea. Getting a boxer was my husbands. I was one of those uninformed people who thought they were mean dogs. It took my husband 3 weeks to convince to go meet our Sandy. It took her 5 minutes to make me fall in love with her. I always tell my dh getting her was the best idea I ever had! :D He just rolls his eyes at me!

It was my husband's idea when we got our first boxer. He said that he had always wanted a white boxer named Butch. I searched the breeder, picked him up, and took care of him from there. I had always been a small dog person. Not anymore, I then in return had to beg for the other boxers that we have.
