I wish so much that I could have just one day with my grandmother. She died when I was 3 and I don't remember her. When I look at pictures and hear stories about her, I feel cheated because I don't remember her and there are so many things I'd like to know about her. She died of Ovarian Cancer at only 50 years old. I've never heard anyone speak one bad word about her, so I know she would have been a great source of knowledge and encouragement in my life.

All of my grandparents. The only one I have ever met was my Mom's Mom and she died when I was 18 months old so I don't even remember her. The others passed away before I was born. Also, my 3 brothers that died in a fire a year before I was born, my Mom always tells me they wanted a baby sister so bad.

And of course, all of my furbabies!

And my very good friend Isreal, cause he would just be in AWE of the rest of the company. It would be wonderful to finally see him in awe of anything! He is so cynical. :rolleyes:

Then I would have another dinner party with my grandparents (mom's parents) and my grandfather (dad's dad) I miss all of them so much. I was lucky enough to grow up with my mom's parents and spend so much time with them, but I still feel cheated. I would want a nice quiet dinner party with them.

Alive would probably be David Bowie or Kevin Garnett (cause I know, if he just meets me... :D
Dead- no question, Hunter Thompson. Which is funny, because when he was alive, I swore, I could never meet him- I thought he'd be waaay too intimidating. Now that he's passed away, I think about how silly I was thinking that. And I know it's stupid, cause I never met him or knew him, but I do miss his presence in the world.
Or Hemmingway. I'd give (almost) my left arm to meet Hemmingway. Can I get all 4 at the same table? :D Wow- that'd be a strange gathering of people I'd love to hear the conversations Bowie, Hemmingway and Thompson could have. I'd be in the kitchen w/ Garnett :D

My grandparents and uncle who died before I was born, and all the jazz greats! I'm a HUGE jazz fan! I'd love to sit and talk with Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra..... the list goes on and on. We'd have a jam session after dinner too!

We are a real close family but feel we dont spend enough quality time together and life is too short, so one big family dinner would be ideal!
