Who would you invite to dinner?

Who would you invite round for dinner,.. (anyone at all, famous, dead or alive!!)
I would love to have Sharon and Ozzy osbourne, because they really crack me up big time, John Denver, I loved his music... and think It would be hysterical to listen to him and Ozzy sing a duet, they are such opposites, one a total headbanger, and the other so gentle Last but certainly not least would be Peter Ustinov...he must be one of the greatest story tellers of all time, and had a wonderful sense of humour....I dont know how much food I would eat with that bunch round the table though, I'd be liable to choke, I'd be helpless with laughter!!!

I think I'd ask my Grandfathers(both dead now). There are so many things I understand better now that I'm older and would love to have heard their take on things.

My grandmother...I have always thought she was beautiful, despite years of dealing with crippling rheumatoid arthritis, etc and she after she passed away 2 years ago (cancer) I spent some time with my grandfather and he told me some beautifully sweet stories about he and my grandma in their younger days. I have spent hours looking through their old photographs and am in awe of her beauty and the love of life and laughter that was so obvious in those pictures that I never really got to see in life as she was always in such pain...so I would love to invite her back and spend an evening listening to her stories of her youth!

...and also Dorothy Parker--I love her sharp wit, great short stories and her poetry! and David Sedaris, his books crack me up!

My Father, He and I were so close My Mother left when I was 2 so it was me and him against the world LOL He died 1 month before my 14th B-day He told me good bye when he left for the Hospitol but I did not relize then that he knew it would be the last time. I would love for him to see me and my family now and meet his grandchildren and great grandchildren.

I think I'd have to invite my Grandmother. She passed away when we were 9 years old. I'm having problems with my daughter right now and she'd be the one to straighten her out. She's probably rolling over right now anyway because my family has become so disfunctional!

My grandparents and uncle who died before I was born, and all the jazz greats! I'm a HUGE jazz fan! I'd love to sit and talk with Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Louis Armstrong, Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Duke Ellington, Frank Sinatra..... the list goes on and on. We'd have a jam session after dinner too!
