This year Avra's winter coat is very very soft and i could say that it's almost like a cat's coat(softer than other years)
The first comment that people do when touch her is how soft like silk her coat is,they almost look amazed and i wonder if it is normal
Other boxers which i have touched have strong and more filled coat, not like Avra's.
About 2 months ago the vet did her annual blood tests,T4,T3,THS(spell?) and were normal
Maybe white boxers have different coat from fawn or brindle boxers? or i have missed something of her diet(she is on Barf)

Thanks

In my experience white boxer's coats are much softer than that of a fawn or a brindle. I have owned one of each and fostered many of each different color and the whites are always much softer IMO

I love to snuggle Finn because he is so soft just my own life sized teddy bear :)

My Sasha feels like velvet....esp....her ears....she is so soft and baby like....not coarse anywhere!!! Her hair is quite thin compared to our new fawn Telmar....thick and coarse!!

My white girl Angel is also much softer than Ruby who is fawn coloured. Especially after having a bath, she's silky soft. Her fur is much finer in texture than Ruby's and it's also slightly longer fur as well. I love the white boxers, they are so sweet. Ruby's fur is also soft and very nice to the touch. Actually the white fur on Ruby is softer than her fawn fur.

I agree

People always say the cant believe how soft Rajah is and he is all white. But my little Monte feels so soft to me also. He is fawn with alot of white on him.

Tango's coat is always getting comments. He has a silver sheen to the tips of the hair and his coat is soft as silk. It has to be because of the colour!!.*cheers for the white boxers*:D

Well I have a question! What do ya all give your baby's a bath with and how often? What kind of doggy shampoo? My Brindle has course fur, a bristly type. When I give him a bath it's soft but how can I keep it that way without giving him a bath every month? He's been sprayed by a skunk a couple times in the past and now whenever he gets wet he stinks of skunk. almost like it is stuck permanently on his coat. He smells fine when dry though. Any suggestions? Thank You!!!!:)

I hardly ever give Finnegan baths - about once every 3 - 4 months. And when I do I use an oatmeal shampoo. But I don't think its the shampoo that does it, I think white fur is just softer. Even on a fawn or brindle the white on their chest or other white markings tends to be softer.

Thanks everyone,it is relief to know that everything is ok:)

Regarding the bath,i would never give her a bath with soap except when she rolls in something smelly  ...usually it's something dead
After swimming i rinse her coat of the salt with water without soap
