Our's would be out West somewhere in the mountains! Places that we have lived in before we came here: 1. Muscatine, Iowa (nice little town, both born and raised there), 2. Kansas City, Missouri (lived there twice--loved it!), 3. Enterprise, Alabama (Ft. Rucker--army town), 4. Hopkinsville, Kentucky (Ft. Campbell--another army town), 5. St. Louis, Missouri (I liked it, hubby didn't). Now we lived in New Albany, Indiana and may wind up dying here although I hope not.

I always thought it would be neat to live near the ocean but, I'm not the sun bum I use to be. I've been to Colorado and it's definitely beautiful. My hubby says he likes Arizona for a winter getaway. I've never been there so, I don't know. I've been to quite a few different states and have been to Canada. I guess there is no place like home. I enjoy my 4 seasons for the most part.

Completely Boxer Crazy
For me - it seems that my perfect place is any where I don't live! I'm really picky so Scott and I have discussed this issue many times as we are both bored to death of Missouri!!!
We can't live in Texas, Oklahoma, or any other place that is know for tornados!! I am DEATHLY afraid of them and now it's to the point that I don't like high winds!!
I don't like extreme heat, Scott hates the cold, I don't want to be anywhere where the ground moves so California is out. I hate the thought of hurricanes (high winds) so most of the lower east coast is out!!
After all that - we've come to one conclusion!! Wyoming!! What happens there? No offense to people that live there - but what the heck?
I'd really like to move to Colorado, but I'm sure it would get old after a while. I'm never happy anywhere it seems.
Jobs are important! Scott is a floorlayer and of course Saint Louis has the best union, the most work, and blah, blah, blah! So - I think we will be here for quite some time!!
I lived in Council Bluffs, IA (next to Omaha) actually in a little town called Underwood and would LOVE to move back, but I didn't like it then, why would I like it now? I've almost convinced Scott to go there, but each time we go to visit family and there's snow on the ground, he says that he's heading south until he can go no more!!!
I'm at a loss and guess we'll see where life takes us! For now it's in Saint Louis, MO! What a whole!!

Hi All! I've only lived here in Canada. It's a wonderful country but depending on were you live, the winters can be nasty (must wear layers!!) :
I love the east coast....beautiful country/great people but hard to get work/ I lived in Quebec City...beautiful city/
Lake Louise...BEAUTIFUL and GREAT SKIING/
the west coast, again beautiful but it rains from Nov-Feb (rather snow) and now presently Ottawa which I love...Nice small city not too far from the wilds to explore and a safe place to raise kids. I love that we have four seasons but if I could sleep through Jan-Feb. I would (cold and long months). If I could live anywere it would were ever my family is (although I would LOVE to drop by any warm state for some of the winter months!!)...or maybe southern Italy:D
I've only visited parts of the states but from I saw Texas/Arizona/and Colorado look great! No offense to any other state...unfortunately because of the exchange rate its pricey visit.

As for Ft Campbell...my husband actually re-enlisted just so we could come back here! I wouldn't live in Hoptown or Clarksville though if we stay here. We'd have to get a little further out of Army towns!
Arizona was beautiful! I think I could deal with it there, near Flagstaff at least.

Any place that is warm. I hate being cold in the winter and hate the snow. I always tell people I would love to move to Florida or any state that is warm. I love the beach and the ocean, so California would be ideal too.
