Bonnie and Clyde used to sleep with us but when we moved, I bought them each a dog bed. They now sleep on their own beds in front of the gas fireplace.

Check out Xena's Sleeping Beauty Pic!

She sleeps in our bed at night so that we can get some sleep and also so that we can hear her when she needs to get up at night to go potty. She has been sleeping through the night for about a week now until last night when she had to go potty and had teething problems at 3 am. Otherwise, since I work days and Xena's daddy works evenings she gets up with me at 5 am and is fed and potties and gets a little indoor low activity play until about 7 am when she is ready to go back to sleep in the bed with daddy until he gets up at 9 am. She naps in her crate in the livingroom with the door open in the daytime unless I put her on the couch after she falls asleep on the floor first. She stays in her shut door crate anytine when she is home alone. On week days that is from 2 pm when her daddy leaves for work and since I get off work at 2 pm and work only 4 miles from our home she gets to go out for a walk with me then when I get off of work. So she sleeps with us in our bed from 10: 30 pm- 5 am and then naps there with dad in the am. This way she spends very little confined time in her crate. She has been in there twice for up to 5 and half hours and did just fine though.

Jake and Jenna start off the night in their beds (right next to my side of the bed), but when they realize that we are asleep they both sneek into the bed. Jenna curls up right behind my legs (I sleep on my right side with my legs bent) and Jake sleeps right next to her. My husband was gone for the weekend once and I went out and bought a twin bed and a comforter that matched ours. I put it right up against my side of the bed and it looked so good. We had so much room. Everyone that saw it would ask "where did you get that bed?" It is a little crowded now because my husband just built us a platform bed and took away my modified king size bed.

Hi -- my Grace sleeps with me. When my boyfriend visits, since I only have a queen-sized bed right now, sometimes she jumps down to her own doggie mattress right next to my bed. But since I got her, she normally snuggles up with me...

Both of our boxers sleep w/ us. They give us a little space to sleep. :)
When we got Lexi in December, we let her sleep w/ us. Then, Ruby had to join us. Now, that Lexi is getting bigger, our space is getting smaller. In fact, last night, we decided to put Ruby on her pillow, which is at the foot of the bed. My DH picked her up and put her on er bed. She got up right away and looked at us in bed. It was the most pitiful look. I was like she was saying...WHY are you doing this to me???? We both laughed, then she jumped back up in bed w/ us and we all 4 fell asleep.
But to be honest, I am getting tired of having cramped space to sleep, plus, it makes it difficult to cuddle w/ my DH!! :-(

my cuddle buddy!

dileas sleeps in her own bed which is next to mine until the light goes off and she jumps up on to my bed. if im in bed and the lights on she leans her head on the bed looking up at me with those gorgeous big eyes as if to say 'hurry up and switch off the light so i can get in!' if i tell her to go to her own bed she does for a while and i usually wake up hanging off the bed as she's sneaked in and sprawled out while i'm sleeping. she's soo cuddly and cozy!

Zoe sleeps under the covers until she's too warm then she goes to the couch, when she's chilly she comes back to bed & asks to be let back under the covers...this is usually repeated several times thorought the night. : )

I'm not sure I should be surprised with all the spoilt pooches sleeping with their owners--I know they're so well loved. I love my two as well but I just couldn't handle having them in bed with us overnight. I'm a light sleeper and move around a lot. DH has to get up early for work and while we will have them with us for lie-in mornings that's the limit. I get so claustrophobic if I can't move freely. So they have free reign of our couches in the lounge. If our bed-settee is being used by visitors, the dogs have their own bed which goes into the kitchen for the night.
