Great poll and glad to see everyone else allows their boxers to sleep with them too! I'm like a nervous new parent and wasn't sure that was "normal".

I recently moved Minka's crate out of my room to the spare bedroom and she begrudgingly spends her nights there. On weekends (or when I feel guilty for not spending enough time with her), I let her sleep with me, which she definitely prefers. This, of course, is to the dismay of Taz the cat, but eventually he concedes to the fact that he has to share and so I have Minka snuggled in and sawing logs on one side and Taz, purring himself to sleep on the other. I also have a roommate but she has her own room and generally closes her door at night (not as pet friendly as I am!).

We also have a very elaborate morning routine where everyone (except the roommate) has morning constitution, gets kibble, gets water re-fills and most importantly, wet cat food. Not sure what's in that canned stuff but both are like drug addicts until they get their customary scoop of it! Then I hop in the shower and Taz takes his place in the sink and Minka sticks her head in the shower and tries to lick the water out of the air.

I have no hubby yet but I have a dude-friend from another city coming to visit in a few weeks for the first time. Not sure how all this will go over! He's OK with the pets he says, its the roommate that's making him nervous.

... and when Minka is making herself comfortable on the bed, she goes round and round in little circles on the same spot 15 or 20 times until everything is just so! Then she curls up into a little ball on that perfect spot and goes to sleep.

When we first got Nala, we tried to let her sleep in her crate. She started whining until way past midnight, so we did take her in our bed.

Now she would not sleep anywhere else, which is quite okay, except when she have gas and when she wakes up at 4:30 am (we use to get up at 6:30). Now we just go to bed earlier.:)

hmm

Chester sleeps in his crate, until morning then he finishes sleeping with his daddy, if is feet arent wet from the snow.
Sometimes my dad lets Ernie sleep in the bed with him and my mom, my mom doesnt really go for it because Ernie is way bigger than all of us and takes up tremendous amount of space. Dakota and Yogi sleep outside, because Yogi is to old to climb stairs and Dakota likes to sleep with him.

Where ever he wants

I have tried, and tried to keep him out of my bed, but to no avail. I tell him to get down, and hesitantly he will. He goes to my daughters room until he is sure I am once again fast asleep. I could tell him a hundred times a night, but every morning there he is right next to me.

Sometimes hubby or I wake up and have wet hair, or either its stiff as a board, where skyler has "groomed" us during the night. Isnt it funny how they take care of their People??? Gotta love em!

we did end up getting a bigger bed so all our babies could sleep with us. Max either sleeps between me and Howie or on other side of me - must have pillow and likes to be covered with sheet. Shay doesn't care so long as he is laying on some body part and Shelly likes to cuddle, so one of us is generally in trouble if we have to go to the bathroom......

NIGHT NIGHT TIME

WE HAVE TWO. :D :D CODY WOULD LOVE TO SLEEP ANY WHERE ON THE BED. BUT REALLY PREFERS TO LAY ACROSS ALL OF THE PILLOWS. SADIE IS HAPPY ON A BLANKET OR PILLOW ON THE FLOOR. OUR ROOM IS BEST, BUT ANYWHERE WILL DO. THEY USUALLY SLEEP IN THE GUEST ROOM THOUGH, CAUSE SHE SNORES AND FARTS:rolleyes:AND HE LICKS AND BED HAWGS.

CODY-MALE ALMOST 4 FLASHY BRINDLE VERY SOFT NATURAL EARS, CROP TAIL. RESCUE FROM POUND
SADIE-FEMALE APX 7 RESCUE. PLAIN FAWN NATURAL EARS CROP TAIL. SHE IS MORE AGGRESSIVE AND MORE PLAYFULL THAN HE IS.

yeah, I forgot about the snoring and the farts - but with 3 of them in the bed that can be guilty of it at any time (and it's not me and Shelly!) it's not fair to single any one of them out and make them sleep somewhere else - Howard wouldn't fit on their dog beds anyway........... :D
