My boxer, Andie, used to "escape" and run the neighborhood. She looked intimidating but would not hurt a fly. I actually had a "neighbor" call the cops the last time she ran away and report her as the dog that "attacked" their dog a year ago........Andie never attacked any dog. I was furious. The cops came and caught Andie. They were laughing because my vicous attack dog was cowering under a car when they finally corned her and when they pulled her out - she was scared to death of them. Of course, they told the "neighbors" that prob was not the dog that had attacked their dog...it is just simple ignorance on people's part.
I would not even say that most pit bulls are vicious...a vicious dog is usually made by the owner, not the breed.....
