What's the most expensive thing your boxer has eaten/distroyed?

I wouldn't classify this item as real expensive, but rather hard to come by. About a month ago Kanin got a hold of my hubby's feather pillow while we were at work. He tore a whole in the pillow, and as you all can imagine...we came home to feathers all over our bed, bedroom floor, and scattered through out the rest of the house. Then today I come home from work and I see a feather laying by the back door when I walk in. Then I see more and think to myself...no way he didn't tear up daddy's other pillow. So I walk to the bedroom and yepper Kanin tore it up. Feathers everwhere again. I yelled at him to go outside now and let him out. He didn't even want to come back in after I got the mess cleaned up with the Shop Vav and changed the sheets. He knew he was in trouble!! Such a brat!! But what am I suppose to do when he looks at me so sad and sorry with hos bog brown eyes. We are now gonna get a hook to put on our door so he can't go in there while we aren't home. But he loves to go in there and lay on the bed and look out the window. Sorry Kanin not anymore. We can't just shut the door cause the knob doesn't latch correctly. We all ready tried that and got home one day and the door was open. Guess he just pushed hard enough to get it!!

The most expensive thing Koa has destroyed is my bathroom floor & I mean he ripped the whole thing up. :mad: Besides that ,there hasn't been anything too expensive.

Maggie ruined my quilt chest coffee table and tp'ed my living room with 6 rolls of tp. I noticed she was not at my feet one day and went to look for her I got to the door just in time to see something white fly thru the air. She had torn up 6 rolls of tp all over the living room(that is what I get for being on BW so much)LOL She had so much fun throwing and catching them I could not be mad at her.

Ali tried using my cell phone when she was 6 months old and I guess she just got carried away and ate it. Other than that she likes to read the newspaper and then shred it. An old couch got it's stuffing pulled out a few times (she unzippered it, I don't know how she used to do it but she did).

Blizzy ate my diamond engagement ring..and passed if before I realized she ate it!! Lucky for me, (going to be a bit graffic now.) the diamond ring was at the top of the poo and the sun hitting the diamond caused a 'glare' type look, so I went to look thinking she ate tin foil or something...ewwww my ring...cleaned up really nice She did that as a rebellious pup. Once she got a bit older she never bothered destoying anything. Her big things to eat were paper products..books, paper towels, paper plates, toilet paper, feminine products..ewww..

This is too funny. Glad you got your ring back even though it took a detour.

Boone & Lexus never chewed anything up except stuffed animals. Now on the other hand Rocky chews EVERYTHING!!
1) Sofa (skirt on bottom, arm, cushion stuffing and material)
2) Numerous Leather shoes
3) Comforter
4) Pillow
5) LR Carpet
I'm sure you all get the idea.
If I didn't love him so darned much I'd consider booting him out. Just Kidding. :D

I'm getting a new Leather sofa & love seat delivered tomorrow because the other one is too destroyed.....I pray to God that he doesn't decide to chew on it. YIKES

Eve destroyed 2 cell phones that didnt have insurance, numerous DVD's and VHS tapes and CD's, as well as many of my sons toys, bathroom items such as shampoo, soap, lotion, tampons (a brand new box and she shredded each and every one), and she has chewed off at least one corner or EVERY textbook that I have ever had since I got her as well as several other books. There have been many other things too!!

The most expensine thing Sam destroyed was the coffee table . He chewed and chewed on that thing until I () came out and poured tabasco sauce on it. He never touched it again but the table was over $1,000!

, Zero used to be horrible about trying to get the food on the counter, so we would put hot crushed peppers on the counter and it didn't take him long to realize that he didn't want anything up there!
As for chewing.... he went through a roughly mild phase destroying all my boyfriends stuff... , Zero never touched anything of mine. I claim it's cause my stuff was put away, BF claims it was because Zero hated him for leaving him at home for an hour so he could go to school.
He chewed:
3 new college textbooks that BF had just ordered (packaging and all)
2 pairs of BFs shoes
a trash bag FULL of trash (all over our living room)
and he also decided he wanted to try a hand at gardening, and attempted to repot 2 of out plants. However, he doesn't have a green thumb cause they ended up dying.
I actually think that's it... seemed like more at the time.

Well Bugzy chewed my Gucci sunglasses, numerous kids toys(he has a preference for small, plastic action figures.), ripped the window tint on the kitchen sliding door, destroyed 3 giant birds of paradise among various other plants, chewed the door panel in my moms car etc. etc. He's much better now that he's two but that first year was a b@$#!.

ABBY has chewed up so different many things, if I listed them all, I would be sitting here for hours just trying to remember everything. The most expensive things that she has chewed on and ruined are:

2 pairs of my prescription eye-glasses
2 cushions that were on my sofa
1 pair of my brand new Reebok sneakers
1 custom made Harley-Davidson bar stool seat
1 cell phone
1 remote control
1 goose down jacket (You should have seen THAT mess!)

These are a few things that cost a few more dollars to replace than the rest, but they were material things. And hey, I'll have to admit, I couldn't go to a store and get another ABBY.
