I am seriously thinking about getting a third boxer. Some of you know I love white ones and would love one dearly. I am in so much turmoil trying to decide whether to or not.
I can't think of any cons apart from that I'd hate for Lola & Zeb to feel pushed out and the walking three dogs issue (I'm only just able to walk my two together around the block and have to go out twice).

My daughter has promised to walk one of them every day and I do believe her as if I ask her to walk one of them now she does, she's a good girl but I am a little worried and would like some info/advice good or bad about having three or more boxers so fill me in people :)

BUSY. that is what life is like with three. there is never stillness. one of them is always off doing something that we need to check out.
we have a yard so walking them isn't too much of an issue.
the house if full of boxer love, wiggles and kisses.
it's great....but not for everyone.
if you have support and help from the rest of the family...that's great. it's just hubby and i...and at any given time one of us is doing something with one of the dogs. it's great!
i am able to bring them to work with me everyday so that makes it easier in training, etc.
right now we have an 8 year old deaf white girl, a 10 month old fawn boy and a 6 month old deaf white boy. the house is busy with boxers and i wouldn't have it any other way.
otoh...be prepared for three times EVERYTHING. we always had 2 dogs....and adding a third didn't seem like it would be much of an issue. but it is. however, in our case, we essentially have two pups. ONE pup is work....and we have two.
still........i wouldn't change it for the world.
good luck!

Well I'm off on Sunday to have a look at two white males for my sins.
We've all had a big discussion and think it would be lovely.

Is there any way to check if they're deaf? The breeder said one of them is definetely not deaf and the other is a little slower to respond but does respond. They are ready to come home 16th of March.

I found it easy at first, as Luka and Angel are the same age, as they got older and bigger it became harder. Being the one who cares totally for my boxers it became too much as you know. I found the walking the hardest as although I could walk 2 together I do prefer separate walks. I found 3 boxers in the house quite overwhelming at times, especially when they were all playing or clamouring for attention.

Having had 3 and now 2 I am amazed at the difference. 2 boxers are easily manageable, enjoyable and I have the time to spend with them individually, which is something I couldnt do with 3. Ruby and Luka have more freedom around the house, they seem calmer and the house is less chaotic.

I hope you can make a decision, as I know the docking law is important to you. If you have help, reliable help which isn't just the novelty kind, the finances and the room then go for it. If you think you may end up being the one caring for all 3 then I say don't, it's too much for 1 person as I very sadly know.

I have 3 that are my forever babies and I do mean babies. Oldest is 16 months; middle child is 9 months old; and baby is 6 months old. AHHHHHHHH!
Oh and just for fun we are fostering a appx 1 years old boxer with no manners. I have to honestly say my 3 babies have to be the best behaved boxers ever. They just make me Smile and Laugh. But when we brought the 4th in. Half starved to death and no basic training I about pulled my hair out. And I have a friend that just has two boxers but her male will eat anything she leaves low enough and counter surfs. So I have to say three is easy for me but they are well behaved and I have a fenced back yard.

I only have Hank, and I would love another one. I have two other babies also, so there definitely would never be a quiet moment, as there is not one now! I just don't know if my kitties could handle another one! They tolerate Hank, Sammie and Kizzie now, another one may drive them over the edge! foolicon

I'm not impulsive, if I was I could have had a pup a few months ago.
I passed an 11 month old fawn & white one up just before Christmas too and he would have been free to me.
I have thought long & hard over this believe me and love whites and this is my last chance of having a docked one. If I don't do it I know I will live to regret it I know I will and it will be too late :(

You never know I might go see them and they're not exactly what I'm looking for, yeah and pigs might fly right ;)

At the moment Zebs upstairs with my daughter & Lola's in the conservatory so it's not like they're under our feet at all. I know Lola & Zeb will think all their Christmas' have all come at once if I do get one.

One thing that makes me tired just thinking about it, the potty breaks through the night

With 3...its never ending. Never ending .......take all the joy and negative times three. We also have two females who after much ado refuse to get along. They simply hate each other so we play musical dogs with them. Love of your pets make you do crazy things lol
