Dont think i could pin point one thing......although one that springs to mind is i have to hide treats round the house when i go back to work after lunch, and cant stop now as i imagin Elvis running round wondereing where they are if i dont!! HA HA

One of the main one that comes to mind is making sure he is comfy lying on OUR bed even if it means one of my legs hanging out and i have no cover!!! As long as Elvis is happy!

In the spirit of NILF, I know I shouldn't do this...but... if I am laying on the sofa and Mindy is asking to get up, I will move over to the chair so she can have the sofa.

I get alot of flack at work for sending Mindy to daycare and for getting her a baby pool and for getting her monthly baths. All these things aren't strange for everyone, but apparently they are strange for everyone I work with.

Aside from the excessive baby talk, I would have to say spending excessive money in collars and leashes. I live in Chelsea and we treat our dogs like kids - so all the shops have such cute clothes and collars. I just love it! I think Nero knows how handsome he looks and good he smells with his organic perfume!

Both DBF and I did not care for people who referred to their pets as their babies or their kids. I was not amused when a friend came back to my apartment with me once and told my cats, "Hi kids, mommy's home!" I never talked baby talk to my cats. Well, how things have changed! DBF called Oscar 'son' from the day we got him, and to the dogs he calls himself not daddy, no he's 'daddykins'. My Boxers are my babies, and in spite of Mali weighing in at 49#, I can still hold her on my lap like a baby, while cooing, "Baby girl, baby girl, baby girl" to her. As Emily put it, you know, just the normal stuff.

But, I do occasionally give her zerberts on her belly. I swear it makes her laugh  But if anyone ever saw me, they'd probably think I'd finally gone off the deep end. foolicon[/QUOTE]
I call them VERPS!! Even if Scrappy twists and looks at me in a funny way! Also I give him massages on his back and shoulders and like to kiss the side of his muzzle until the side of his lip turns up and he kisses me!

wow, I feel so at home on Boxerworld! I KNEW it WAS normal to share my bed and my pillow with the dogs. to snuggle on the sofa, with them, while hubby sits on the floor. To give "zerberts" on their tummy or that squishy funny part at the edge of their lips. Toys everywhere! Driving 40min to the vet because the 3 in town arn't good enough. Giving kisses in the morning, before leaving, and before bed.....as well as bunches in between. Like other people have said, all the NORMAL things! The one thing that I didn't tell anyone, when my baby boy got caught and bitten by a crazy number of blackflies, to relieve the itch and soreness I rubbed cream everywhere! But i'm sure that my fellow boxer people would have done the exact same thing.

That I have found the best puppy paw lotion for the rough/cracked pads on their feet!!!!

What is it and where do you find it??? I need some for Moab.

I love hearing everything you guys do for your babies. This is the only place where I know all my antics are normal!
