I paint Sadie's nails, I put perfume on her, I wont go to sleep unless shes asleep first...
you know, just the normal stuff.

LOL Gee boxers aren't spoiled..... And people wonder when they post something that we as a boxer " insane group" :rolleyes: see as inappropriate treatment/ ECT we get a "little passionate" about it they get offended..Oh well

I admit it all. Most of the company I keep is about the same way, we all love and cherish our dogs but I am the one who is the nuttiest but I do admit it all. I preach to others about good dog food and some can't believe that I have my dog food shipped. They don't understand why I won't just go to walmart and buy it.

I am definately the one who does the most reasearch and reading about dogs so that means I am the one who gets the most calls and questions.

I'm not really sure about what would make me embarassed, b/c I have been doing what I do with them for awhile and everything seems normal to me. For some reason I do call most "puppies" whether they are young or old, "poopies", b/c that is what I called Paris when she was little cuz she was a poop machine......I still call her that, probably more than her real name......other than that, they sleep with me like normal and I call them my monkeys......besides spending crazy amounts of money or good food and treats, they eat better than me!

But, I do occasionally give her zerberts on her belly. I swear it makes her laugh But if anyone ever saw me, they'd probably think I'd finally gone off the deep end.

I do this to mine too!! If it's not making them laugh, it sure makes me laugh!

I also feed them off of my fork...and then use it again. Some may think it's gross but they're my dogs and their mouths are cleaner than everyone else's. Isn't that what we all think about our own dogs?? Or am I really just that insane...? But it's so hard to resist two pairs of big, brown eyes, looking at me, with shoestrings of slobber on either side of their mouths when I'm eating fruit or something that they absolutely love!

Oh, I shamelessly admit it all Most people respond with, "in my next life, I want to be your dog!"

Thats what everyone says to me too! We do all sorts of things including feeding good quality raw food and it takes time for us to portion it all out and freeze it. Sometimes they eat better than us! And they sleep with us in our bed. Luke even has his own room with a Queen size bed. Luke and I even share an ice cream cone
Plus they have hundreds of toys everywhere!!!

I must admit that for Dukes recent surgery, I drove to 4 different pet stores to find an inflatable e-collar because the plastic regular old e-collar scared him (we can't have that!). It was the best $35.00 I ever spent.

That's cute! I thought I was the only one who babied my babies. They sleep with us and have their own blankets. Yes my friends think I'm crazy, but who cares. I love them and they're my life

this is one of the reasons i fell in love with this site from the moment i stumbled upon it -
many of the things i do or have done for my dogs would be considered over the top by "regular people"
whereas here, there is always someone to say, "me too, i've done that, and you know what else my baby loves....."
when we meet another boxer owner, my dh asks me - are they dog people or are they boxer people?
and here, at this lovely place, i've found strictly boxer people.

I give Atlas and Sydney a massage everynight. They love it. I talk to them in my baby voice, make sure their blankets are always straightened up and they have a fresh pillow case on their pillows.
