The first day is magic! We are so happy to have our baby! It's a fight to know who turn is it to hug her!
The first week is hard. Watching her all day long to bring her outside at the right time, waking up at night because she cries, you put her outside to see if she needs it, to realise she just miss mommy, you don't sleep much because you have to keep your hand in the crate so she can feel your presence, you do cleaning all day long to wash accidents, your nervous because your not sure she's eating enough, or because she eats everything that she founds on the floor even if you though you did a big cleaning of the house before she arrives, and then she meets the cats and you are afraid that she will get hurts...
The first month, everything is getting better. You get use to her, and she get use to you. She's asking for the door if you're lucky, she starts to sleep at night, but still wakes up at 6 in the morning, even the weekend. The worse thing is the biting with the baby teeth. It hurt so much! And she just can't understand why she should stop. She still scares our cats and don't understand to go softly. But one thing very fun at this age is that she learns very fast. She starts to sit on command, she comes to play with you, she is very funny trying to walk on leash.
It's getting a lot of fun when she is around 5 months. She loose her baby teeth, so you can start to really play with her, and she understand what you are telling her. The cats enjoy it too. She start obedience course, so the walk is beggining to be a pleasure.
And when she have 9 months, like mine now, it's paradise! She lishen very well, she starts being free in the house with no mess, she learn not to jump on you, she is starting to guard the house, and all she wants to do is to give hug, kisses and play! She is lovely!
