Another Aries/Gemini combo here. Clyde is Aries 3/28 and I am Gemini 6/18.

Leta, I don't think I've missed it, but I don't see an "evaluation" of Aries. Please enlighten me!

Great post. Thanks for the fun! :D

There is a book called STAR SIGNS FOR YOU AND YOUR PET BY JOHN G SUTTON COPYRIGHT 1998, an Astrological guide for you, your friends and PET. It gives you negative and positive characteristics for the month and birth day, and asto numbers. My friends and I always pull it off the shelf when we get a new addition. I did not read it before I got Millie (scorpian), or I probably wouldn't have her. and miss out on one loving relationship. There are many true things but please don't believe all the negative. It is how you love and nurture them, Sue.

Suzanne,
You're absolutely right. I would never choose a pet, friend, or mate based on what day they were born. How else would we learn about each other? Believe me, variety is the spice of life. About the negative, you have to be careful about letting those things become a self-fulfilling prophecy. But if you believe in this stuff, even a little bit, it can help you train your pet (as well as yourself) to accentuate the positive and eliminate the negative.

As we mature, we become more refined and if we are aware of our faults, whether based on morals, religion, or astrology, we know what needs to be worked on. Like I have said before, I am not a psychic or astrologer. I actually work in the medical field (very scientific) but I also study people. Most of the signs that I gave in-depth descriptions of come not from books but from my own life experience. I have more friends that happen to be born under certain signs and I see these traits repeated in most that carry those signs.

I read the other post, I can't remember who put it up but she included a link to some quick descriptions of how the different signs might look on a pet. The first think that struck me was that both I and the writer used the the term 'clown' when discussing the Sagittarius. I have known many and this is the first thing you notice about them.

I grew up with two brothers, a Taurus and a Libra. Guess which one was, and still is, the peace maker? And which one you can't argue with because you will NEVER win?

I would still like to do Libra and Aries. Are there any others?

I'll be back. Got company. You know, Christmas and all.

Lexi's birthday is October 10...which makes her???? Baxter was a stray so we are using the day we got him and the year they approximated him at :) (which doesn't count I know) But I am not sure which sign that would make Lexi....

Aimee,
Lexi is a Libra (September 24 - October 23). The Libra carries the symbol of the scales, as in justice. While the Libra may not make the best judge, she can see all sides of a debate and tries very hard to make the 'litigants' see each other's side as well. Dogs probably don't have a much of a grasp on the law but they do know or at least can be taught right from wrong. They are the peacemakers of the zodiac and they really just want everyone to be happy and get along. Compromise is the key.

They don't collect things like some of the other signs do because they simply can't make up their mind what to collect. This boxer may be more willing than most to put off the walk until you're ready. They are patient and kind and willing to let others have their way.

They are always ready with a sympathetic ear and a shoulder to cry on but they will sieze the opportunity to help you see the other side of whatever story has you upset.

To Michelle,
Clyde is an Aries (March 21 - April 20) Your Aries is straight forward. He lets you know what he wants and usually doesn't give in until he gets it. With Aries it's not the eyes that are so expressive, it's the eyebrows. You can always tell WHEN they are thinking but it is difficult to determine just WHAT they are thinking.

I had several instructors in high school and college that were Aries. They love to teach and know that they can show you how to get to the top. They are hard workers and don't necessarily ask for the recognition of their success.

They can't lie well. What you see is what you get. If you have a chance to ride the coattails of an Aries, jump on and hang on. They will show you the way to the top complimenting you on your progress the whole way.

Part of being the 'baby' of the zodiac, the Aries can be a bit egocentric. Not in the outward way of the Leo but more to himself. Almost as if he feels guilty about it. But they are not shy.

Indy was born on October 6 and Beauty was born on September 20. My birthday is October 18. I think we have two Libras and a Virgo...what does that mean??? The other two people at my house are a Libra and a Cancer...

Super Boxer
Trish,
I would think you have a very happy and compatible group at your house. At first glance, I might think your Virgo would choose to be by himself but only to intrigue and entice the others to play with him. The Libras are everyone's friends and they could care less if the Virgo doesn't want to play too. Eventually, the Virgo will see what fun you are having and join in. If things get rough during play, the Libras will probably back off and make sure everyone knows that it's just for fun.

The Cancer is going to have one eye on the whole mess making sure that if anyone gets hurt, he's there to kiss the boo boos better. There are much worse combinations of people/dogs to deal with all in one house together.

OurCoby

Hi Leta!

My apologies for not getting back to the board sooner, but the holidays have kept me away.

I think you are right-on about my Tuarus Coby. Calling Coby stubborn would be an understatement! This boy not only chooses when he will/will not listen to you, but talks back if you are saying something he doesn't want to hear! :( It's not a barking talk, but more of a vocal moaning talk. When we are taking too long to get his dinner or getting our shoes and jackets on before a walk, Coby is soooo impatient, he whines to let us know just how much he resents the wait!

As far as his artistic or creative nature is concerned, I can only think of Coby's very unusual, nightly dinner dance where he slowly & deliberately dances around his dish for 5 minutes before he starts to eat. He also frequently re-arranges his play area outside. For example, he'll move his outside bed from one spot to another and then go pile his toys where his bed used to be....strange dog. Finally, I don't know about selfishness, but I do think that he is the jealous type. Whenever my husband and I are hugging, Coby tries to butt his nose inbetween us. Maybe that is his way of being selfish of his mommy &/or daddy.

In response to your question about my husband the Sag., he is actually pretty tactful and I am usually the one who has their foot in their mouth. However, it does take some time and (sometimes w/great difficulty) for him to get a point accross. He just can't seem to express his thoughts with the right words. I've heard that this is very characteristic Sagitarriuses.

Thanks for your input. I really enjoyed it! :)

Brynn,
I really was anxiously awaiting your response, especially about your spouse. Well, I can't hit them ALL right I guess. I was really stretching with the 'rearranging the play area' thing but I am giggling watching your baby do this in my mind!
