Note for everyone at end of reply
Hi guys! Sorry I have been away so long but sick and hurting people know no holidays so between the celebrating and working at the hospital, I just haven't had time to respond and I really am sorry. If I have missed anyone, just give me an e-tap on the shoulder and remind me.
To Jennifer
A Virgo fits in just about anywhere because he generally has no need to be 'accepted'. He is perfectly comfortable with who he is and generally doesn't need validation of his importance. That makes him somewhat opposite the Leo. If you look back through this thread you'll see that I have discussed both signs. It is always more interesting to look at how the signs interact with each other than just looking at one specific sign. Your little family will get along fine. You and your boxer may have to look to each other for the validation you crave because the Virgo tends to believe that everyone should be able to go through life like he does, not needing it, so he might not go out of his way to 'notice' you. This isn't a bad quality. The Virgo just has a hard time understanding that most souls need other souls around to feel comfortable. If that doesn't make sense to you, let me know. I don't want to start any fights here!
To Bluerose,
I too, am a Cancer and I could go on and on disclosing the bad and the good in that sign! I tried a relationship with a Virgo once. He played hard to get for a year and then once I had him he wasn't any fun anymore. But that was just me. I needed someone to dote over me and I wasn't getting it from him. He was very self-assured and I wasn't. I have also discussed the Scorpio somewhere along this thread. They are lovers and have double the boxer power in those eyes! They are very loyal although some astrologers believe them to be untrustworthy. I had a biological father that was a Scorpio and he had every bad quality ten-fold. After my parents divorced, my mother married another Scorpio who was the exact opposite. At different times in his life he was a police officer, a fireman, a paramedic and even ran for sheriff in the county we lived in - twice. Hopefully your pup will be the protective civil servant type rather than the kind that gains your trust and then 'stings' you.
To Benny,
Oh, the Cancer, as above, I could go on and on. Check back through the thread for more on this sign.
Leezah,
Yeah, I really opened up a can of wormicon wormicon wormicon didn't I? You say the Cancer and Aries are opposites. I can see where you would get that idea! The Aries is much more outgoing but in my opinion, the Cancer has a much more infectious laugh. Cancer is ruled by the moon and we are all 'lunatics' deep down. Your Libra pup will always be the peacemaker. If you and hubby have a tiff, count on Angus to make sure you two kiss and make up when it's all over. Don't resist. Libras can get downright annoying when trying to make everyone get along. Trust him, you'll all be much happier if you just give a little.
TO EVERYONE:
In regards to true opposites, that theory has a place in astrology. If you were to draw a circle and divide it into 12 sections and start first in one section with Aries and go clockwise around the circle placing the signs, one per section in order, the sign opposite yours is your true opposite. Try it. Start with Aries in the first section, then continue in the following order: Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Saggitarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces. Start with your own sign if you like, it doesn't matter, but make sure you put them in the right order. These opposites really DO attract. One of the reasons that I am so interested in this stuff is because my best friend of more than 30 years is a Capricorn, my true opposite. We have lived as close as in the same house and as far apart as across the United States from each other and we never lose contact. The more I learn and live, the more I believe. However, I cannot stress enough, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, EVER base your choice for a life mate, pet, friend, boss, employee, etc. on the day of his/her birth! We need to know how to interact with an entire WORLD! Don't be narrow minded and remember, this isn't exactly science.
