What pays the bills?

My job is to go to school but we all know that doesn't make any money so that is why I keep my fiance around. He works for UPS (what can brown do for you?) and at a major food warehouse in the management dept. He was offered a promotion at UPS yesterday but we are still unsure if he is going to take it. No, I really keep him around because I love him but I like to tell him it is for the money When I am done with school I will have a bachelor's in psychology but that probably won't get me much so I will have to spend yet even more money to go to graduate school. When does it ever end??

Computer programmer. I do those horrid applications that ask you to press 1 for this and press two for that on the telephone (ducking virtual rotten fruit and vegetables being justly tossed my way). Quite a few of you have probably talked to my handywork. Meh, it's a living.

animal hospital

I work at an animal clinic. Yeah I know lots of fun play with pups and kits all day. Don't get me wrong there are a lot more good days then bad. Today just happened to be a bad one. This idiot brought in 5 "dumped" 3 day old pups. 2 were dead before we unloaded them from the box. they were in such bad shape we ended up putting them to sleep. I have worked there six years. It's the first time in a long time I have been so mad/sad/outraged/. I have become indifferent to stupid people who don't care, but you can only save so manyof these poor babies(I know that better then anyone).It's just if she would have even kept tham warm. I just forget what I'm doing there sometimes. It's not the best money(it's not terrible either), but my husband is a warehouse manager at an office supply. We do ok. or should I say the Spoiled rotten dogs do great!

I worked for several years in law enforcement as a deputy & a dispatcher. Now I am the office manager for 2 retail stores with over 40 employees. To say I'm busy is putting it mildly.

DH is a state trooper. He has 7 specialties ranging from crash reconstruction to armorer to FTO.

Between the 2 of us we make good money and we like the nice life we have.

I do payroll and other odd jobs that might come along at a shipping company. I also work for a babysitting company (I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that job). I'm also a grad student. I don't even clear 20k a year, so I have to budget a lot! I'm very independent and take pride in the fact that I take care of most things myself (including $975 a month rent) with only a little occasional help from my parents. If all goes as planned, I'll start teaching high school Spanish this fall and my income will double!!!

This is so awesome!!!!! You go girl. I'm independent also. I live with my BF right now but up until now I've done the same struggle you are with the only difference being that I have a daughter also. It's been some of the hardest times of my life but it makes you who you are!!

DH is a painter at a bottle decorating company. I am a school psychologist in a county public school system. I see interesting things every single day - my job is never boring.

I'm a stay-at-home, homeschooling mom right now. Just started homeschooling this year and we're really enjoying it!

My dh is a construction supervisor.

DH is an HVAC mechanic for the past 20 years (air conditioning and heating) DH is a great guy and pays all the bills, New Jersey is so expensive we moved here 2 years ago and DH took a pay cut they do not pay as much in New Jersey as New York so we are in a bit of a struggle right now. I had a childcare in New York for 10 years which I was making great money at, I have had no luck as far as jobs here Im used to being self employed. I think IM at a crossroads with myself and wanting to start another business. I love the woods here the deer and my space just have to find my place.

We have a family plumbing business, I do the books ect and my husband
is a plumber. We have 13 employees, it is a lot of work!!!
