#1 has got to be the boxer burn. When Crash really gets going he'll stop and stare at you until you make eye contact with him. After you lock eyes with him, he will make some noise and keep burning. I think it's his way of making sure we are paying attention to his crazy little self.

#2 is the way he sniffs something. If it smells really good he smashes his nose up against whatever he is smelling and takes big deep sniffs. When he lets it out his lips shake.

my boys

#1 - Harley doing the Boxer Burn in the backyard with mud and grass flying up in my face.
#2 - Harley smushing his crinkly fleece ball with his face. He doesn't bite it, just pushes his face into it until it squeaks over and over again.

#1 - Chopper cuddling in my lap.
#2 - Chopper running to me after doing his business in the backyard. Like "Hey Mom, wasn't I a good boy".

Harley and Chopper never do anything wrong in my eyes. I love my boys :)

1. They make me laugh when I get home and Hogan greets me with whatever toy(s) he had nearby, in his mouth. Sometimes he is determined to put 2 or 3 in at once and won't come dancing over to me until he has sucessfully stuffed all of them in there! Meanwhile Hilda is beaning all over the place and trying to crawl up on me to give me my 1001 kisses before Hogan gets to me. It's like a race!

2. They really make me laugh when they sit on the driveway side-by-side and bark at the house across the street. They are calling for our neighbor, "Al", because he brings treats over to them all the time; so now they have learned that if they "yell" for him long enough, he will come out and bring them their treats! (The poor guy has woken up from napping to come out with their treats!)

Charlie Paper's newest thing is we've been working on "roll over" so he'll be in the middle of rolling over, and get stuck. He'll be flat on his back, and he'll start woo-wooing, and grumbling. Then he'll start worming around on his back (where he thrashes side to side) and then he'll finish the roll, and stand up looking very proud of himself.

Also he always makes me smile when I come home. I'll let him out of his crate, and he'll immediatly start kidney beaning. And the minute I say anything to him, he'll bean even more and more, and a few times he's beaned himself right into a wall, or a table. It's quite cute how he just gets so darn excited. It's almost as if he's ready to burst out of his skin. His kidney beaning is one of the things that stole my heart that day at the shelter almost a year ago.

1) boxer burn and the woo-wooing are always classics. Always good for a laugh.

2) I recently taught Marley to wave. (I was such a proud mommy) But now he does it ALL the time! When he wants a treat he'll just sit in front of me and start waving. He'll even sit in front of our friends and start waving. It's pretty funny.
