This is part of what I love about BW , that's not a car you can buy in the US , but it looks so cool!!! Looks like a cool family ride!!! Well here goes my ride...this is just a google image, but its identical to mine, color and everything... Yep, its a mini van... Thats right ...a mini van. Lol "big blue" as we call her!!! When you have three young kiddos... Its a mini van. I reallllly want an suv now that our youngest is 5, but big blue has been paid off for a while now...so as long as she contiues to hold up, we will keep driving her!!!! Our oldest who is 10, is now embarrassed... Lol...kinda makes me wanna drive it til shes in highschool then she will REALLY be mortified!!! Its funny to watch things come full circle :) i used to hate when dad drove me to school in his old pickup truck, we all grew up and moved out and he buys a big fancey truck..what gives?!?! :) 08.jpg

If your car is called a mini van, what's a "regular van"? lol
My car is 5 year old. I thought about selling it two years ago because I was really not using it much but it was useful lately when taking my daughter to the hospital etc. My next car will be like yours. I like to be sitting higher and I need more space because of the buggy/toys etc coolicon

I have a Pontiac Vibe. I hate it. I got it to replace my Subaru as it had much better mileage. It is 7.5 years old and it is really time to replace it. I am thinking of getting a Volkeswagon Jetta Diesel. It gets really good mileage. Since I drive 100 km everyday going to work, I really need good mileage. :)

We used to be a Jeep family - had Cherokees, a Liberty and Wranglers. Still love them, but crummy mileage. The last 3 cars I've had have been Subarus. LOVE them. I had 2 Imprezas and now have a Cross Trek. It sits a little higher than the Impreza so easier in and out and better snow clearance. And Subarus are all-wheel drive. When winter comes in northern Minnesota it gives me a peace of mind - less stressful driving. And the best part is 26-30 mpg which is really good for an SUV.

We currently have 3 cars: Chevy Tahoe, Chevy Cruze and Honda Civic. The Cruze was recently purchased to replace the Civic as it's 12 years old and pushing 300k miles! Those things just keep going! The sedans are commuter cars for my fiance who is super commuter. I drive the Tahoe most of the time. I love that thing! The Civic will be passed on to our niece who recently left for college. It was her graduation gift. It's nothing fancy but will allow her to be able to come and visit us, or her mom and grandma on weekend or holidays. She'll be able to get a few more years out of it.

Audi A4 ... Love it love it love it !!!
I had a Ford Focus before that from new and never really took to it then my son got an A4 albeit an older model and I loved driving it so two yrs ago I traded my focus in for the Audi and have never looked back !
However Roge is only allowed in DH's van for every day spins, he has been in my car a few time for vet visits but I cover the back seat with throws to keep the slobber & hairs off .

Hahaha , ya know , I really do not know why they are called mini vans!!!! I loved it when the kids were babies, the back seat folds into the floor board and our girls were so close in age I had a twin stroller for them, and it took up A LOT of space, so the van and its features were awesome..

BTW, on side note Olly, I'm really sorry about your daughter and what she's gone through at such a young age, makes me tear up to know such a young child has to face such things. It seems your family is in good spirits about it, but I meant to mention it In another thread where you mentioned her battle... Hugs to your family

My car is a Toyota Solara, which I only drive to commute to work. The dogs' car is a Chevy Tahoe. Hardt and Kringle outgrew my car quickly so we got them an SUV. My husband has a company vehicle so we only drive the Tahoe on the weekends when we have the doggies with us, or to drop one off at the vet. We love it! We have seat covers, seat extenders (that fill the floor area between the front and middle seats), and a barrier so they can't get in the front seats. Since Kringle's DM has gotten worse, we have put the 3rd row seat in and we put her in that seat by herself so she doesn't have to deal with the boys while riding since she's so unstable. Hardt and Easton get to share the middle seat and my hubby and I in the front. It's good we don't have skin kids or we would have to take 2 vehicles everywhere!

Minivans are about a foot shorter than a regular van and are designed for families. Lots of cup holders and such.

As for me I drive a 1998 Mustang convertible. My husband ordered it in the color I wanted for our first anniversary. He offered to buy another one a few years ago, but I would have had to trade this one in and I said no. When I travel I take my husband's Ford Explorer Sport. It is the 2 door version of the Explorer. (which they don't make anymore. ) It is Army green. I named Odie, for olive drab. :) The back window is on my avatar.
