What funny habits?

My three have lots of funny habits…

Nano likes to get under the covers with me. If I don’t lift them for her she taps me over & over with her paw. If I still wont lift them she’ll curl her toes and pull the blankets back. She is very determined to get under those covers.

Rosco hides his bowl under his bed every time he finishes a meal. I guess he’s concerned about someone stealing it???

Trucker meets us with a toy each time we come home UNLESS we leave the can opener out… then he greets us with that. He also runs away from his poop as fast as he can.

When he runs around in the yard it is always in the same direction and pattern while holding a stick. It's like he is doing "crop circles".

Cassius does the same thing....and he does it looking so proud, head held high :p

Everytime Mindy wakes up, she does the cutest thing. She stretches forward and woo woos, every single time, it is so darn cute I can't stand it.

She also has a natural tail (it is curly) and if you uncurl it and show it to her, she immediately puts it in her mouth and starts chewing it. It seems like it should hurt, but she never yelps.

If she wants to play with the cats or with my parents dog, she pokes them with her nose. She will continue to poke them until she gets some sort of response. The cats usually stick their butts in her face and walk away, my parents dog usually barks at her and runs and hides!

We have only been together for five months, so I am sure more funny, quirky things will surface as more time goes by.

Izzy goes crazy when I tear up paper. She acts all goofy and gets all excited, and does goofy stuff. She does the same thing when I do a hole-puncher, or open and close a binder. The noise just makes her go crazy, and she gets that goofy look on her face and gets ready to attack/play. I don't really even know how to explain how she acts, it's just sooo cute and funny. It's like she gets possesed.

Gus likes to come up to the back door, and when i go to open it, take off running. He thinks he is soooo funny!!! I think this just might be a teenage thing though, cause Izzy did this too at his age (9 months). Izzy use to hide behind the shed in the backyard when she knew she was going to get a bath. I would be calling her and looking all over the yard, and then see her head peek out from around the shed, with that look, like "just try to catch me, HAHAHA".
Gus takes a stick, runs the border of the yard, as he drags the stick against the fence the whole way! He keeps the stick in his mouth the entire time, making lots of noise.

When they are both outside, they like to find a big long stick, and chew on it and play with it together. They both also like to chase my sisters labs when they have a ball in their mouth and try to play tug-o-war while the tennis ball is still in the labs mouth. They both also like to bite at the backs of the labs legs and try to knock them over, hehe!

Gus lays down when he eats, like his legs are too long or something, or he is lazy, not sure!

Gus likes to poke the kitties with his noise, to try to make them run so he can chase them. They usually just ignore him.

I am sure there are other things. They just do so many cute things.

Lana will not stay in the yard if we close the patio door. she will be out there for hours but you close the door and she comes running at full speed. She will not share her water bowl. If another dogs drinks she looks at me like its contaminated and it needs to be refilled.
She brings us presents every time we come home, what ever she thinks is important to her, toys, shoes,..
She has her favorite patio chair to lay in the sunshine, if a visitor sits there by accident she makes a big fuss and tries to nudge them off.

There is not one day she doesn't make me laugh

If I don't close the bathroom door, Buster will come lay his head on my lap. But, he is not one to follow me around...very odd.

Dubby will not go outside to potty if it's raining. He will sit on the porch, and whimper at me. And even if I get an umbrella and go out with him, he has to have the umbrella while I stand in the rain. He will not walk on linoleum. For any reason. Dubby will not eat his food if anyone is awake or home. He waits until the dead of night to wake me up with "crunch crunch gobble burp snort" as he enjoys his food. Or he eats outside when I'm at work.

Alyss's only weird habit is that she takes a bite of food and walks in a circle. Rinse, lather, repeat, until she's eaten her whole bowl of food. But it's not so much weird as it is just because she's deaf.

Molly has many crazy habits, but a funny one involves her ears. When she is in one of her cleaning moods she sits on the floor on her side and will do her licking and grooming. She then will stick her back foot and gently scatch/rub the inside of her ear. When she is done she will sniff her back foot, that was in her ear, and look at me like "wierd smell? oh well". If I happen to be around and catch her doing this I will ask her "Does your foot stink?" she will sniff again and then its all over. She is a strange dog sometimes!

Buddy sleeps under the covers when he's cold or if it's daylight but his nose has to be out. He woos to my BF when he gets home all the time. He lays on the floor on his back and puts his paws up at him and woos! When he thinks I've slept enough, he paws gently at my head or arm. If I don't move or open my eyes, he licks my nose. When I first let him out to play with the neighbors dog, he stalks him like a cat. He's even learned to hide behind the big planter and stalk him until he gets closer and then jumps on his head and starts boxing him. :eek: It's really funny to watch him. In warmer weather, he suns himself. (even rolls over to get his tummy)
When he eats, he brings mouthfuls one at a time to the room we are in and drops it on the floor to eat it. --We recently run to hide in a different room and watch to see what he does. He spits the food out and frantically runs around looking for us! silly boy

my white boxer Brutus(RIP)..used to love ripping up xmas wrapping paper, newspaper, ads, anything that was paper. He also loved playing with the rolls from inside the wrapping paper.
He also was very weird about eating, we would eat breakfast and he would smell it and then he'd be ready to eat. Same thing with dinner, we would eat and then he would be ready to eat. He wouldnt eat, unless we had eaten first.
His favorite thing..was after a bath...he would get all crazy and when i dried him off...he would chase the towel and chew it and play tug of war.

my other boxer Zeus...is just plain crazy. He loves getting in the shower when its running and just stands in the stream..until i let him out.
he has an obsession with socks..if we leave the sock drawer open..he will be in the bedroom and grab a pair of socks and then take off..into the family room.
He always has to push his food bowl around..and bark at it a few times..before he will actually eat it...but then he grabs a mouth full and then drops it on the ground..and then picks it up and eats them.

theres always more...but thats all for now.
