Scooter won't go potty unless I am there to watch. Same with eating, he will stop eating if I leave the kitchen. When he runs around in the yard it is always in the same direction and pattern while holding a stick. It's like he is doing "crop circles".

 I'm laughing cause some of these post I can relate too also. Here a couple of habits that no ones posted.. If I go into the bathroom it doesn't matter if Cody was sleeping, the minuet I open that door to the bath room I have an audience in there with me.. ( Sienna our 11 yr old mixed breed and Cody and Now layla too) in fact if they think I'm going to close the door they"ll run trying to make it in before the door closes.. The other thing that Cody loves is wash clothes, or the towels I wrap on my hair to dry my hair He loves to wait until you've washed your face then he will cry or give you the boxer eyes ( you all know which ones I mean) he takes the wash rag or the towel from my hair and he will lay it down then rub all over it, it doesn't matter if it had a body wash type soap or reg soap or the shampoo conditioner smell, he seems to love the smell and want s to rub it on him self.. what would we do without our silly foolicon boxers

This is a great thread!!!!!! Good one, Marg!

Chief's big quirk is he will not go out and potty in the morning until after he's eaten his breakfast! He'll stand at the door and whine to come in if he hasn't eaten yet. Once he's had his morning chow... he'll go out and potty! It's too funny! It's like he feels it's a waste of time or something --because he'll just have to go again afterwards anyway!!

Scrappy will not poop if anyone is watching. I have never seen him poop, on a walk or otherwise. The evidence is there in the backyard however!

Beau is very funny about letting me know he needs to go outside. He waits until I move or get up and then he'll run to the door. I think it's sweet. It's kind of like he doesn't want to bother me but if I'm moving already he might as well let me know he wants to go out!

Cornelius is the same way about eating. If I move out of the kitchen, he peaks around the cabinets to make sure I haven't gone too far. When he rings the bell to go outside, if you don't jump up immediately, he rings it incessantly until you let him out. I mean, he barely gives me time to get to the door! And yet for his night time potty, I have to physically wake him up / pick him up and push him outside.

Bayleigh has her own comfy bed on the floor of our bedroom but every night she likes to get in our bed for a little snuggle time. She jumps up on the bed, walks up to my head and lays her on my neck. That, apparently, is my signal to lift the blankets for her.

Where to begin......... :)

Dino will only eat a biscuit on the hall carpet, give him one outside and he dashes into the house to eat it in the hall. Does the same wherever he is.

When your stripping and making the bed he does his commando crawl (he's too big to fit really) under the bed and keeps trying to catch your hands as you tuck in the sheets.

Every time I hoover, I stop and start to wind up the cable to find Dino has the cable wrapped round his big white paw and won't let go.

Sophie insists on getting up on the sofa at night even if a guest is sitting on it - she stands and stares at them till they move.

If we are out visiting Sophie starts to complain at about 9pm, head on knees, whining etc. signalling it's time to go home so she can go to bed.

Sophie refuses to go out in the rain for a walk now and if we get caught in the rain she walks super slow as if she hates her body getting wet - you know that feeling when your wearing jeans that get wet and they stick to your legs- that's what it's like!

I think I have very silly dogs

When I let Roxy in from outside. She stops ahead of me with her rear end towards me. She likes me to scratch the flank area. She will stand there until I do it. Maybe I should try that?
