Cute name! Always good to end in a vowel too.
I also heard a great idea. Have two names for your dog. A serious name, Kennedy and a nickname.
Use the serious name during training and when you want them to come and such. Use the nicknames during playtime and around the house.
We have a tendency to call back our dogs using a firm voice when we need them to come right now. Or if they are in trouble we use it too. If you use the nickname, the dog won't relate the name to being in trouble or end of play or whatever. They also take you more seriously when you use their serious name and that comes in handy.
It's kinda like when we yell at our kids ~ we use their WHOLE name and they know we mean business.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!! Yeah!!!! Yeah, we got home ok, that awful weather we had did not help any, especially in a trailer with 50 mile an hour winds 
The harness is working great and as you can see were picking up our newest addition on Sunday, hopefully!!!! Im so glad I found you!! I'd check it out once in awhile since we'd been home but never saw anything. We have to keep in touch, remember im down there all the time Big smooches to those lucky pups of yours!!

Awe Kim, your babies are so dang cute!!! Love that pic of all of them cuddled on the couch. Someday I will have my whitey........and other two or more. LOL Yes, yes we must stay in touch. Heck, I may have to take a road trip just to make sure that new baby of yours is in the upmost best place, or I will have to remove her and kennel her here. LMAO
As for nicknames, I have Lily Poo (baby girl), Buster Boo (Boobers) and the newest, Bella Loo (pain in the arse, annoying little one, whatever suits her at the moment of continual bad behavior).
