What do you think he is mixed with?

This is our new boy we got yesterday and looking at the picture I see a lot of boxer but in person not as much. I think he just has a different nose and mouth....what do you see?

Honestly, all I see is Boxer. He does have a little longer nose than some, but this could just be a result of poor breeding. He is a cutie!! lovicon

He is a bit slow (in a goofy, silly, stupid sort of way) so maybe he really is just the result of bad breeding? Everything I see on him is boxer as well except for his nose and mouth (his "jowls" aren't quite as big...not sure if that is a standard or not though).

I gather by his Petfinder link that he's pretty young? Any idea on his true age? Ronin took a while to "grow" into his head (wide across the top, jowls, etc). Maybe your new boy's nose is a little long, but looking at your pic's - he looks all boxer to me

I have to agree, he looks all boxer, if he is mixed though, I would vote for pit. He resembles alot of pits that I've seen(through muzzle), although, he really looks all boxer and his jowls can get bigger. Apollo's really seemed to enlarge his second year.

The only thing I could guess at is a little pit bull, but really, if the pup is a year or less, chances are it's just a combination of an extra long muzzle and gawkiness from the age. He has the essential black mask and that's generally one of the first things to disappear in a mix.

I think he is simply a boxer with a longer muzzled variation. Scrappy has a somewhat longer muzzle too(we were told he was a purebred) We don't care one way or the other.
