The boys entertain themselves a lot. But I let them out when we get home and they have reign of the backyard, or they get their walks or get to go to either the school next to our house to play or the dog park. Then we cuddle with them at night when they finally calm down. Weekends they love to just be outside in the backyard roaming, wrestling, chasing eachother, or sleeping in their recliners (see gallery for that one). They never go without attention. They are just too precious!!!! I can't keep my hands off of them!

Mine won't let me ignore them if I wanted to.
Boone doesn't "require" as much attention as Rocky, but they still need lots of hugs and kisses. We have a huge fenced yard and since it's starting to get nice here we play outside ALOT. They are always asleep at about 9pm. :D
Or they are entertaining themselves with toys and playing keep away or trying to outsmart the other by luring them with a toy and then taking the toy the other dropped. It's so fun to watch their devious minds trying to outmanuver (sp?) each other.

Its just Gracie and me right now, my DH is deployed until July and I am not working--so Gracie has her "stay at home mom's" full attention (when I am not on BW that is! LOL) We usually go for a morning walk to the ball field so she can run and I can do some laps around the track. During the afternoon it alternates between Gracie entertaining herself or playing with me--she runs errands with me in the car or naps alot too! Usually an afternoon/evening walk around the neighborhood and then cuddle time on the sofa at night with a few games of "tug" or "fetch" in the house and then bedtime! Saturdays we hit the dogpark to meet her brothers and on Thursday nights she has her training class. (we have practise for class on our morning romp to the ballfield and do about 15-20 minutes of "work" before or after playing!)

I'm a stay at home mom.Dozer and I get up every morning and walk the kids to school 2 blocks. Then we come back and clean up the poop (morning ritual) So we can play fetch and keep away (the frisbee from mom) Then when he's all out of breath we come in and watch cartoons with my 4 year old until about lunch then more playing and lounging in the grass, when there's sunshine! Then we go get the kids from school and by then he's worn out so he naps 'til DH comes home Then all the rough housing starts! after diner he streatches out on my bed and that's it pretty much every week day. on weekends we go to the park or to MIL's to torment her 8 yr. old black lab mix! We haven't gotten tired of it yet but he's only 5 months! I have 3 sons 10 and under so our house is always crazy the more excitement the better!

I enjoy my babies, all 3 of them. There is never a dull moment here. We have no kids, these are our kids. I have Hank, an American Eskimo named Sammie, and a black Labx named Kizzie. Hank always plays with them and us. We take them to our lake around here, and Hank has his brother Tyson that he sees everyday. They are very much a part of our lives!

Diesel Lover

Boxer Booster
Well Lilly and Diesel do stay very busy. DH and I work almost completely opposite schedules, horrible on a relationship, great for the pups, as someone is almost always at home with them. We keep them quiet in their crates during the morning routine as the 10 year old would never get out the door if they were available. Then it is play time in the yard, chores with DH, making messes in the house... Once I get home it is a walk to the park, all the snuggling, playing and wrestling possible, and a few arguments over whatever toy is the most desireable at the moment. We usually end up sniggled on the couch in front of the TV by 8:30. By 9, these two are wiped out and ready to be tucked in.

Chaos's Mom

Boxer Booster
Ignore Chaos..oh you must be kidding....he is a me me me kinda guy. Everything must revolve around him. He must have his attention! And attention is what it is all about and he gets plenty of it. Walks, frisbee, wrestle, tether ball, fetch, kong, playing in the snow in the cold weather, playing in the hose in the hot weather, lots and lots of toys, digging, roaming in the park with all of those wonderful smells and the list could go on and on. :) He keeps his mom and dad young and very very busy.

Boxer Pal
Our little boy keeps himself busy most of the time.
He runs around with tennis balls knocking them around or grabs his little blue lion toy and chews that for a while.
We are lucky that he gets along well with our other dog so they play all day and tire each other out.

Boxer Buddy
Mine usually entertain themselves. We always bring them with us for car rides when we are running errands. We have a big fenced in yard that they play in, a couple times a week we take them to open fields around our town and let them burn off some energy. Every day they drag all their toys around the house and burn up and down the stairs and thru all the rooms. They are only crated about 2-4 hrs a day so they take a few naps thru the day as well. Its never dull in our house!!

Our dogs are like children to us no way do they ever get ignored, I get very upset at the ignorant people that put their dogs in cages and leave them there why have a dog if it's not gonna be part of the family yanno? Anyways, we arrange our schedules so they are never crated or alone more than 2 hours a day. Then we kinda of let them do want they want, they usually choose to play outside, we put lots of balls and tug toys out there and they have a great time. When they are inside they have atleast one person on the floor with them if not the whole family :) Our favorite thing to do now has been to play hide and seek, Cooper is a pro!
