I love this thread! I was actually just going to post something about this. Ripley is deathly afraid of the garbage truck and the sound of his crate being put up or taken down. He has no problem going in it or being in it when it's up, but if I am taking it down or putting it up, he has a fit. He actually climbs up onto the BACK of the reclining loveseat to try to get behind Daddy! It's quite hysterical.
The newest fear is by far the funniest. It's my hair clip. I had taken it out of my hair when I got home from a job interview and I attached it to my purse strap. I set my purse on the floor next to me. Next thing I know, Ripley sees my purse and freezes. The hair stands up all down his back and he lets out a low growl. Then he jumps backwards when his nose touches the clip. He starts letting our some of the craziest noises I have ever heard, snarling, wooing, and make all sorts of Wookie noises. I tried to get him to sniff it and show him that it was no big deal, but he was petrified. When I grabbed it he went running in the other direction. Sooo funny!
