The ailments that Ginger has had is: Bee sting - hives (twice), a noncancerous lump removed from her elbow (about 3 yrs. ago) and the last thing was very sick for 2 weeks (about 3 yrs. ago)due to swallowing a chunk of a booda velvet toy, thank goodness she vomitted up after 2 weeks.

Lacey has had allergy problems with her paws, I think the cold bothers them.
Ear infections,
she had a skin tag removed,
a small growth on the bottom of her eye lid removed,
growths on her gums removed, which by the way are back and
I'm going to have to take her in to the vet again.
Has any one else had to deal with growths on the gums?
She also has this kind of hard crusty thing on her bottom lip.
I know that can't be right, so that will be checked out too.
It alsmost looks like it belongs there but, it's darker in color and feels harder than the rest of her lip.

Dylan: demodectic mange w/servere allergic reaction(hives and hot spots). Stitches from ear crop.

Willow: re-occuring demodectic mange and tail cropped way too short.

Chloe: swollen bug bite

Zander: Was starved before we got him. He also has lots of scars that are hairless including ones on his elbow.

Well, after reading the rest of these posts I consider us somewhat lucky.

Gidget- vomitting after eating. Due to liver disfunction
Liver disfunction found during pre-spay bloodwork.
I pray everyday that the liver problem will not shorten her life span. She's my baby.

I didn't mean to make everyone feel sad

I wasn't feeling sad when I wrote the post, it was meant as a light hearted look at the lives of our Boxers :)

Molly has had to go in for a number of minor things, but the most recent was when she decided to catch a rat and she started foaming at the mouth and itching her face on the floor. It turned ou she had an allergy to the goose grass she managed to get in her mouth at the same time as the rat!!smashicon

Poor Monty

6 months old..... swallowed part of a chewed hard plastic straw. Scraped against his intestines causing blood on pooing and vomiting.

vet visit on the above found 4 cysts growing on his head, decision was to leave well alone for the time being.

12 months old, cysts growing and one scratched, swelled up a couple of days later and burst. Vet visit resulted in Antibiotics and a decision to remove the cysts

Two operations later and with a very scarred head monty made a full recovery

The last op left his immune system low and he developed mange.
Must say , he quickly recovered and his fur grew back very soon,

Then he developed kennel cough at 2, he got over this without any antibiotics or treatment which made me feel his immune system was back on form.

Touch wood, nothing since, he's now comming up to three and he's one healthy boy. Has the odd tummy upset but it doesn't last long. You can see his stitches from his ops and his full recovery on my gallery pics.

General has had:
worms as a pup
Kennel cough
Explosive diarhea once
hit by a car-luckily no damage done
hives-reaction from bug bites
bad ear infection
pancreatitis-required diet change to Hills W/D
fainted-only once, didn't take him to the vet

Guess that is about it.
