Hi guys,
I totally lied to you all when I said that the ballfields were completely fenced in. I just came back from there and they are not. The infields are pretty soggy, some areas have standing water, and really muddy as Cami found out.
There is however smaller fields in the back of the park, pass the larger fields that you get to by following a bike path through a small wooded area. this location seems to be probably a little better, (water-wise) and is far enough away from streets to worry about one of our babes getting away from us and getting into trouble. Once you pull into the park head straight back to the water tower and there is parking that is near the path and head back to the left. I don't think that any of them would be tempted to run off seeing that the excitement would be to stay with the other dogs. If there are enough of us mere humans around I don't think we would have too much trouble keeping them contained in an area together.....
Sorry for the wrong information about the fields. The prediction for the weather doesn't seem that promising. Guess we will just have to wait and see.

So what's the plan weather wise, if it rains then we are off but if it snows then we are still on? Rocky doesn't mind snow but forget rain. :p

I think it is supposed to start snowing tonight a bit.

Cami doesn't mind rain or snow.......I mind both!! LOL, just kidding I don't mind snow, would prefer to have about a foot by now! I can do without rain and cold though. For some reason I don't get as cold when it snows as when it rains this time of year.

Same with us! :D So if it's raining we probably won't be there but if it's snowing or had snowed we will still come.

ETA: Whew! It's 10am now and it's snowing. Let's hope it stays that way!

I have been out today. It is raining/snowing, it is cold and just downright nasty outside. Aside from the muddy mess that we would have to deal with (which is ok), I think it's just a litte to bad out for me today to bring out my girl. BUT, if you all are going to deal with it and go I guess I can too.......Let me know.

If you want to cancel that is alright with me. I don't see why we couldn't reschedule for another day when the weather is better. This would give me extra time to get my xmas shopping done! :p
