I agree do not stress, especially over little things. It is YOURS & HUBBY'S special day. Do not worry about pleasing & making everyone happy. Yes, don't forget to eat at the reception. That day goes very quick, enjoy every single minute of it. Looking back on my day, 12 years ago, I was so cool & calm, no one could believe it. Plus I made all my favors & flower arrangements for the tables. Best of luck - I hope you have a beautiful day:)

I am going in to change my flowers again for the 3rd time this saturday.

My flowers were so heavy I could not throw them at the reception, they had to make a second bouquet for that. My bridesmaid held them and had to keep switching hands during the service because they weighed so much!! They were beautiful though and looked great in the pics :)
Like Ronin said don't forget to eat after the reception, but don't forget to eat before the reception either, I was starving and getting woosey during the service.

I would agree with everyone so far, dont stress and enjoy every minute because it goes by so fast. Should something go wrong (I am sure it wont), just laugh it off, it's not like you will get a chance to have a " do over ", this is your one day, you can't let anything spoil it.

I am sure it will be perfect, I hope you have a great day.

I got married last September and all I can say is relax and enjoy the day.
As mentioned make sure you eat I hadn't eaten and we had hummers for our wedding vehicles so my father myself and my bridesmaids all dressed up in the hummer all decorated went through the drive through at McDonalds. It was great. After having something to eat (not that McDonald's is the best choice) I felt a lot better
Just don't stress the small stuff, looking back now I'm glad I let other take cars of certain things and I was able to enjoy my day.

All the girls are gettting together for breakfast before we heard to the salon for hair. I have 7 attendants...4 sisters 3 friends. Its going to be a long day at the beauty parlor, but I'm excited! Then we are going to hit somewhere for lunch on the way to the church...I'm diabetic so I can't go with out eating anyway. Thanks again for all the replies!

One thing we forgot was to pack some snacks for the hotel. Luckily a friend had a basket waiting there for us with everything in it. Including photos from the wedding! Great gift.

Remember this is a special day for you and your future hubby. Not anyone else. Try to relax and don't forget to have fun!!!!!

wait!

I have a VERY important piece of advice that I wish someone had mentioned to me. Make a list, ahead of time (don't try to do it that day) of the pictures that you want to make sure your photographer gets. We didn't get nearly enough pictures of my DH's side of the family - and I regret that now. The photographer won't mind at all. A list something like,
1. groom, bride, flowergirl, ringbearer
2. ringbearer, flowergirl
3. groom, ringerbearer
4. bride, flowergirl

and so on. Also, pictures of certain aspects that are important to you. I know this sounds really geeky - but my photog did get a pic of just may hair and the tiara that I had in. I love that picture. That is one of very few that I loved though. For the amount of money we spent on him, I was so incredibly disappointed in the pictures he got. The whole wedding cost maybe $4000 total - $1200 of that was the photographer....that's how much importance I put into his "job."

Most importantly - smile. If you're not having a good time - fix whatever the problem is. Try to remember everything....it's your party!!

Congratulations & good luck!
