Boxer Insane
We lost Flash on June 30th very suddenly. Sorry it has taken me until now to post here. The emergency vet suspects Cardiomyopathy. I just do not know what to say, it is so hard. He is so very special to me. He just had his "Flash" ways about himself. So many things I am missing so much. Things such as him being up with me every morning as soon as I got up while the girls would sleep in with Daddy, the huff under the bathroom door as he waited for me to come out, the super wiggly butt u shaped doggie with the mouth wide open with excitement when we got hone, him insisting on being where ever I was, at the end of the kitchen if I was cooking, not waiting for a treat, just watching, the watching me on the computer, the coming to lay right beside us as we settled in to watch tv and it would drive him nuts if one of Steve or I fell asleep on the couch after the other had gone to bed. He just would not rest until were all together, he would pace from the bed to the sofa and huff or stick his nose in your face until his whole pack was sleeping in one room, then he could rest. Flash was a Katrina rescue, very bad off and timid when we got him about 3 months of living in the streets after the storm. I still to this day have no clue as to why someone would leave such a good dog behind, let alone any animal for that matter. He loved Steve and I so very much. He could take or leave other people. He was so very close to us and so loving and protecting. He knew we loved him. I did not mind spoiling him because he was so very good. Sometimes he would just decide that he was not going out to do his business before bed, he would just lay on his bed and look at us as if we were crazy, but I can say he always held it until the next morning then went when he was ready. Obstinant little sucker. 
I just wish we had more than the almost 3 years we had him. He was such a sweet soul. I often described him as "everthing that is good in a dog". Do not get me wrong, I love Zoe and Catalina very much. But the will never be a "Flash" again. Run free Mr Wiggles
