I just wanted to thank you for your mature response. It just goes along w/ the attitude that "taking the law into your own hands" will solve the problem. The purpose of my post was to give another point of view. I did not realize that the purpose of this thread was to "make friends." The only reason anything was mentioned re: my background was that it actually pertains to the situation at hand and I have experience w/ "crazy" people. I am sorry that you were offended and/or threatened by it. From now on I will try to dumb everything down for you.

Ublsteryx....dont call the kettle black because the actual "mature" thing to do would be to NOT respond to what Merry said in the first place. And saying that you will "dumb things down" isnt exactly the "mature" thing to do.

Thank you. That is what I thought too. You are very right that the "mature" thing would have been to not respond. I was just really suprised and couldn't help it. Take care and thanks for pointing out the purpose of the thread. It is obviously something that needed to be done.

I think that videaotapin it would be a really good idea, but unfortunately, cameras dont come with spedometers, so if you wanted to catch her speeding, thered have to be other cars around to show how fast she really is goingl

Id say revenge wouldnt be a good thing to do especially if this lady does have some issues. Im happy to see you didnt change your walk route because your showing her she does not intimidate you and you live there as much as she does.

Do you have a neighbourhood watch or somethin in your neighbourhood where there are regular meetings because if you do that could help you a lot as you could bring the subject of this woman up and invite the police to hear the other neighbours thoughts/complaints about her.

Im not sure if i read yur post right, but did you say thi was the first complain the police had gotten about this ady? If so, the likelihood of the responding is very low. If youre the only one to complain, they probably thingk your just being over portective, or have some kind of grudge on her because you know she has some problems and want her out of the neighbourhod. This is where youd need your neighbours to help you out.

Well....as i was told by the police this was the 1st incident about HER driving...but that there has been NUMEROUS complaints about her...for other issues...but he would not say what issues....so i am thinking yelling profanities at kids who are just walking by might be one.
I also strongly belive that violence is not the answer here....as i would go to jail...since she is the one with the mental issues not me.
I still do our walks through her driveway...and just give her a stare and Nina does the same.
So far its been pretty quiet but like i said before once school starts you knever know.
Its also possible this was the 1st time a cop actually has scared her(lets hope)...as he told me he was very upfront with her and told her to watch out.
I am hoping this is the end....but she is not "all there"...so i do not have my guard down.
Tha cameras sound good but will not prove her speed.

Fingers crossed that the police scared some sense into her, although she doesn't sound like she's too far from the edge and could fall off at any given moment.... I think it's very important to keep your eyes peeled for weird/dangerous behaviour and follow through on all of the proper channels (i.e. contacting police etc.) so that YOU don't end up being the one in trouble... Eventually, they will catch her for something... let's just hope no one gets hurt before they do.

I agree with Andi20 you really are playing with fire if you behave this way with a psychotic person. I wouldn't jeopardize my children's life, my life or my dog's life just to make her know you mean business, it simply isn't worth it.
