Junior's Dad, I am so sorry for what you have been through. My heart goes out to you and your wife. Junior is in peace now.

Sweet dreams puppy Junior.

I am also sorry for your loss. It is unfortunate that we both had to go through such a horrible experience...not to mention these poor puppies.

I have my letters written to "the petstore" as well as the Attorney General. I did some checking and they have a horrible rating with the BBB and so does the "company that starts with an "H" that they buy the puppies from"...

I'm going to fight, hard, for some justice for this poor little girl and also your baby.

God bless you and your family during this difficult time!

I hate to sound ignorant, but I just joined BW a couple days ago and I was wondering what "godspeed" means.

It is a way of wishing a successful and safe journey. In this context it is wishing our beloved pets a safe journey to the rainbow bridge.

WOW....I am very sorry for your loss. I can tell he was truly loved. I am sorry it did not work out. But he is now running free and playing nice with all the fur babies at the bridges. He will be waiting for you one day and will have more love to give you then ever. Many thoughts your way and lots of (((HUGS))).

Again, thanks for all your support. I appreciate it.

My wife and I are headed to the animal shelter first thing in the morning tomorrow to most likely adopt a 2 year old male boxer. He is in need of a good home, and our home is just the place for him. His behavior appears to be opposite of Junior's. He is docile and friendly with strangers and other dogs. Wish us luck as we start the journey over again. :)

I just caught your thread and OMG...I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of this. What a horrible position to be in. I can't believe his previous owners weren't completely honest about him. They really put you guys at risk for something disasterous. Have you spoken with them at all about this? I would have to get up in their face about that. Anyway, I am deeply sorry for your loss. I know how hard it is to lose your baby. I lost my sweet girl 4 months ago yesterday and her birthday is Sunday. I am lost without her, although I do have 2 sweet Boxer babies still here with me. Colby is 6 months, and we got him shortly after Cadence died. It has helped me tremendously to heal by having him to take care of. Skye is 7 and she is very independent, so I needed another baby to take care of. I applaud you and your wife for opening your hearts to another Boxer baby. They truly are the most wonderful dogs...I think you just didn't get what you expected. I wish you all the joy in the world with your new rescue. He will cherish you for saving him and you will cherish him for saving you.

Run free, little boy. No more anger, just sweet Boxer angel love.

Yes! There is a new addition to the family. We ended up adopting a 1 year old white boxer girl. She is mostly white with brown ears and brown eyes. We are naming her Cali (or Kali...not sure on the spelling yet). They are keeping her a few days for shots and spay. We pick her up on Wednesday at 4:30. We are counting down the hours! It was love at first sight for my wife. And from what we saw at the animal shelter, Cali appears to be a great dog, displaying none of the traits Junior had. She is friendly and calm and loves people and other dogs. I went to take pictures of her today, but they were closed. :( I will go first thing on Monday.

We are so excited about our "ultra flashy" girl. She is in for a treat when she gets out of that nasty shelter and into our loving home. :)
