Don't know if it's too late to put in my 2 cents, but what about

"Krypto"

That was the name of Superman's dog. If we ever get a white boxer, I'm pretty sure we'll name him this.

Good Luck!

that is sick that you know that you are a real fan I am assuming that you have read the comics.

I like the name. I like unusual names. We just got our new boxer boy last week and after agonizing over 5 different names we settled on Archie. Not really unusual, but it fits him.

I love it! In searching for names for our new boy, we came across Krypto, apparently Superman's dog's name. My husband was SOOOOOOOOO excited! However, I vetoed it. I just couldn't see calling our dog Krypto!

But I do love the idea of naming him after something special to you and I think Kalel is pretty cool. In fact, it's possible my husband might get pretty excited about it. He already tried "Clark" out on me, but hadn't thought of Kalel. We're big Smallville fans.

If you've read anything about our dog names, you know we named our first Boxer Kronk, after the character in Emperor's New Groove. We had decided to name our second Kuzco, also from that movie. However, we're having second thoughts and are now considering Westley, from The Princess Bride. Those are our two all time favorite movies, so it's kind of fun to pick names that have meaning to us, even if it's kind of silly! These are BOXERS for crying out loud!

Go with Kalel. I think it's cool!

LOL!

Sorry I am so late in responding to this. My Husband is a huge Superman fen. His wedding ring has little "s"'s circling it (my idea), he walked down the aisle to the John Williams theme (everyone cheered when they heard it), and he finally had the most awesome costume made for this past halloween.

In addition (for those that care) there was a documentary that came out this past Summer called "Look, Up in the Sky! The Amazing Story of Superman" thatI actually was one of the editors on.

I LOVE all the superhero references in everyone's names (Selina, Parker Kal-El, etc.)

Love the ideas here, although I'd have problems using the superman names because friends of ours keep californian corn snakes as pets and they're named after superman! They've got a Lois, a Lex & a Clark!
