I am just learning so much about Boxer Behaviour through my newest fur baby and the forum here and other Boxer Lovers, it is just so fascinating!

Bell'a has started to really discover a way to show joy.

I am sure you long-term owners know what I mean.

When she sees me, she doesn't just wag her tiny little stub, she wiggles her whole little hind end, and it is just so cute!!!!

I'm wondering if part of what she is doing is what Boxer World Folk call "Kidney Beaning"?

It's like she is still facing me, but wiggling so she is almost folded in half, sort of presenting her wiggly little hind end for a pet too???? Is that what Kidney Beaning is???

Yup  It is one of the many joys of boxers! I will never get tired of seeing them do it and all because I walked through the door!

Bridget, try the harmonica. It's what makes Nikita woo woo like crazy.

When mine woo, it sounds like a cross between a low growl and a whine. Mine are all rescues and did not do it at first. I take it as a sign they finally felt at home when they did it. My Tyson just started last month. I think you will know it when you hear it. Try searching the site for some video clips of it. Occasionally someone will post one.

Wagging the entire body(New Boxer Mom) Kidney beaning?

MY Daisy is a week shy of 8 months and I have only heard her woo woo twice. The 1st time was a few months ago when she go real excitied. The second time was just yesterday when Daisy noticed my neighbor shaking out a sheet. She barked (which she seldom does) a few times then let out 4 or five woo woos then barked some more and more woo woos until the nasty sheet went indoors. We then had to check all windows for the next half hour to make surte the nasty sheet thing was gone. She only did her soft litlle woofs durring this time but I really adore the woo woos and the soft little woofs too.
